Amazing
I absolutely love these boots. The hoji lock system works beautifully, flick the lever and you're in ski mode! No messing with buckles at the top of the hill anymore. As far as fit goes, I have a fairly wide foot. The only running shoes that fit are Altra and Topo. These boots are a perfect fit for me, with the only exception being that they seem to run a tad shorter than Scarpa in same size (28.5). I was worried about my it and considered returning them, but the liners broke in nicely and I am very glad that I stuck it out. This is hands down my favorite boot I've skied yet. If they fit your feet, get them!
Best downhill & tour boot ever had!
Over 80 years skiing & never more comfortable boot nor one with so much firm but light weight. Boot will add years to any seniors mountain life. My gosh you will be able to keep up with youngsters even hiking 1/2 mile from car to lifts or walking up those cobblestone streets in Europe or wherever. They also fit many downhill bindings or great with shift style or any pin binding. They are cool looking & still have not seen any on slopes at Crystal Mt past 2 seasons. They are particularly easy on backs & knees for us Sr. Skiers. For me I put on in cabin, drive to parking, ski & don't take off or loosen until back home. They are in walk mode of course to drive, walk, lunch but hardly have to touch buckles up front. Just a great boot for intermediate to expert skiers all the way around...& REI does super custom fitting as part of purchase until they are perfect at SEA flagship store.
