Excellent Boots
Perfect boots for daily errands and walking the dog. We have already had some icy mornings in Anchorage Alaska this Fall. Boots are very good on ice. There was some heel slip right out of the box, however after just a few days of wearing that is gone. Apparently the sole does require some break in. These will be my daily winter wear boots. I highly recommend these boots.
Runs Narrow
I’ve been a fan of Keens for decades, but their boots have become narrower, and less paddle-foot than they used to be, and less comfortable from the get-go, and these boots are no exception. Very little heal slippage with, but the front of the boot is a little tight, a condition I hope will ease as I break-in these boots, or as they mold my feet, which ever the case may be. Would not order these large, as the heals will slip. I love the styling, and rugged construction.
Not for me
I liked the quality of construction and the idea of a slip on but this boot was not what I needed. It was not a slip on in the sense that you could easily slide your foot into the boot. The leather was extremely stiff and it took a while to get the boots on, with normal socks. After getting them on, my feet felt too free. They slipped around inside the boot. I have very average width feet so I think if I had thick socks on the width issue would have been resolved. However, I probably would be whining more about how difficult they were to get on, with thick socks. So, in short while I liked the boots they just weren't for me.
I wanted to love these
I really wanted to love these boots. They look awesome, they are well made and seem really durable. The fit is way too big. I had many pairs of Keen's throughout the years and these are much bigger compared to previous boots I have owned. I tried putting on an extra insole but even then the heel keeps sliding off, which makes them unstable and unsafe to walk in. I walked in them for a few days to see if they would break in and perhaps the slippage would go away, but it feels worse than before. I tried everything, thicker soles, three different types of insoles. No chance. They really seemed like the perfect winter boots, it's quite a shame that the fit is so off.

More like galosh
Unfortunately I bought these online so I didn’t have good eyes on or I wouldn’t have bought them. Then I wore them outside too soon so I couldn’t send them back. I was hoping these were more like daily wearable slip on boots, but they are big and clunky rubber rain boots and don’t fit well. I added inserts just so my feet don’t swim in them, but they will never be great and now my toes are jammed in and the rest of the boot is loose. This is about the 3rd pair of Keens that I’ve bought online, two others were sandals that I don’t really like and ended up in the trash. Stick with the hiking boots they are the best.
Slip-on workhorses
These slip-ons will take anything you throw at them. It's great having a pair of boots I can get on my feet at a moment's notice. I live in a rugged part of Colorado where the land isn't nice to footwear with all the rocks and snow. I've owned these boots for almost a year now and they still look great. The durability has been impressive. I'm very happy with my purchase.
Warm and Dry Feet with these boots
Not normally slip-on or ankle high guy, but these seem okay so far. A little longer breakin than I would like.
Great Boots, Almost
Recently rediscovered the concept of slip on shoes after fumbling with laces for the better part of my adult life. Slip ons are just so much less of a hassle. Was was looking for a pair of slip on waterproof boots for errands, taking my dog out when it rains and the occasional snow adventure. These boots are billed as being warm, waterproof and having solid traction in wet and snowy weather. These features matched what I was looking for and so I went ahead and purchased a pair in November 2022 Upon first trying them on, I did find them to be bit on the larger side, but nothing that a thick pair of Fox River Norsk or Kirkland Wool Hiking Socks couldn't kinda fix. That being said, the boots do run a bit large with normal athletic socks and are generally on the roomier side IMHO. Wore them for a couple months through the unusually heavy 2022/2023 rainy season in the SF Bay Area and LA and had no complaints. These boots would power through puddles and my feet would remain warm and dry. Traction was great and never once did I feel that I was going to slip. Brought them on my first snow excursion of the 2023 season and while the traction and warmth were as advertised, unfortunately these boots are not quite as waterproof as Keen claims. After trudging through the snow, I noticed that the inside of the boot near the toe area seemed a bit damp. Upon further inspection, I found that water appeared to be making an ingress via the toe box seam. Not sure if this is expected behavior, a design flaw or a manufacturing/quality control issue. While I really do like these boots, especially in the areas of warmth and wet/snow traction, I'm not sure I can recommend them since they aren't quite living up to the claim that they are waterproof.
Very comfortable right out of the box
I put these on and didn't want to take them off. I told my husband, I live in these now and sent him this picture. I like the mens fit better than the womens for my feet.
Decent quality, not water repellent, poor sizing
I bought these in a half size down from my normal size but they are still to big. I kept them cause I don't think they will be available in the size and color I want, nor will REI have a different, similar boot in the color I want. I need brown boots that are pull-on (no laces!) and waterproof and made for the winter. This seemed like the only option available after I purchased and returned 2 other pairs, so I just decided to keep these. When snow gets on them it melts and the leather soaks it up which can't be good for long term resilience. And they are supposed to be insulated but there's barely anything between my socks and the cold wet snow. 4 stars cause I haven't gotten a soaker yet but I bet it'll happen. If I had my druthers I'd have gotten cash back and bought boots from a manufacturer but I was gifted boots so I couldn't just get the cash.
