Solid middle of the road bib

Good bib, not bomb proof, but keeps the snow out of your pants! Not the warmest but layering is the way to go anyway. Solid middle of the road bib. I’m 6’2 215lbs and the large with 32” inseam fit best.

Used 1 time and the zipper is already torn on the front pocket of the pants. I will be returning for a refund.

Not Quality of prio North Face Freedom Pants

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worn and loved North Face Freedom ski pants for years. This freedom Bib, was extremely disappointing. These pants disintegrated the first day I wore them.

Tore at the seam after 3 chill resort sessions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the fit and from North Face, I expected a durable piece I could trust, especially as an occasional backcountry rider. Instead, the pants tore at the seam behind the knee after 3 chill sessions at a local Vancouver resort. I'm feeling very frustrated with the lifetime warranty - the cost to ship these pants out to get them repaired and the potential repair cost add up to more than half the price of the pants. Even if they do replace them, I don't really want them anymore. I'd rather just put that money towards a buying better quality snowpants that can survive their intended use.

These are straight forward and fantastic.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these Bibs. They are simple, have pockets, vents, and openings in all the right places. and on a cold Minnesota night outside for hours, they kept me very warm. I am impressed. Caution on sizing though, if you can try them on in person, I would go that route. I followed the measurement guide and bought a large. Could hardly move in them, and felt like they were going to burst if I had to kneel. ended up buying up to an XXL and that would allow for freer movement and layering. If you are built like the guy in the photos, then you might be fine, but if you have anything more to you than that, buy up a size or two.

Quality and fit are AMAZING!!

Bought these for our son for Christmas. He absolutely LOVES them. The most comfortable pair of bibs he has ever worn. He will use them mainly for skiing. He will also use them for practicing shooting skeet, sporting clays, trap and 5 stand during the cold winter months here in Michigan. The quality is remarkable, and we are glad we decided to spend the money on the North Face brand!! So many pockets to store necessary items without being bulky, quality zippers.

Don't buy these if you like POW

I'm a snowmobile guide in Whistler BC, I've been using TNF gear for years now and these are the worst snowpants they've ever made. They lasted me 3 weeks until the crotch ripped, I even got a size up from my normal medium as this years models fit smaller that last years. I always go try on new models before I buy. The quality of construction wasn't even my first complaint, I emailed TNF as soon as I noticed they got rid of the boot lace clip for the gaiters after wondering why my feet were soaked first day of sledding...because they have a meshed gaiter. Super poor design there. lets snow right in.

Warm bibs, great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bibs are so handy. I prefer them over snow pants. If its not too cold/windy, you can wear them with just a sweatshirt (no coat) to keep your core warm. When it gets cold/windy, just throw on a coat over the top. These bibs have two beneficial features. 1. The velcro feature around the waste allows you to adjust the snuggness of the bibs and to keep your body heat where you want it. 2. The inner elastic calf liner to keep snow from going up your leg if you fall, or if you're in deep snow. Not any downsides to these bibs, you get what you pay for. They're an excellent bib for the price.

Good design and construction, but very thin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bibs are well-designed and the quality of assembly seems fine. My biggest issue with them is just that they are super lightweight (which may be an advantage for some people out there). I want a little more insulation, and an interior lining made of nylon so that it can slip on over my other clothes. I should state that I am female, 5'3", 112#, and I bought the Men's Small-Short because I wanted better coverage of my chest than the women's bibs offer, and the mens bibs do provide that. The fit was good (you do have to shorten the straps a *lot*). It just felt like wearing a thin plastic bag. The outer fabric is also has an unpleasant texture, though I may be more sensitive to textures than some.
