Comfortable glove for cool weather
I got these gloves to wear under my mittens when taking winter walks. They’re great when it’s in the 40’s or upper 30’s, but when it got down into the 20’s, my fingers were still cold, but not as much as when I wore just the mittens. The gloves are comfortable and are thin enough to fit inside my mittens easily, and the fit was exactly as listed in the sizing chart. The touchscreen fingertips are inconsistent. Sometimes they work and sometimes they don’t. That’s not a deal-breaker for me, but might be a problem for someone who uses a phone a lot with the gloves on.

Excellent liners

I love these liners! They are thin enough to go under insulating gloves and warm enough to wear alone while changing out layers in sub zero temperatures while out on the mountains for me. I tried another brand made of 100% Merino but are ever slightly thicker and they stretch over time so I save those for sleeping in my bag. The REI 2.0 liners stay true to size and also work well with a touch screen if that’s what you choose.

good winter running gloves

These have been great for running and fast walking in 20-40 degree temps and dry weather. Very thin and comfortable but warm enough to keep frost nip at bay. Touchscreen works great. I'm a 6 foot tall woman with a 7.5 hand and and went with the small because most gloves are too short in the fingers for me - these fit perfect. I normally wear an XL in women's gloves, so most non-giant women might want to consider the XS in these.

Great pair of budget liners

Really like these liners. They fit well into a pair of mittens and are nice for those extra cold days snowboarding. I also use them hiking and running all the time when there's cold mornings. The touch screen fingers aren't great however. They are good enough to answer a call or something simple but don't expect to have full normal use of your phone with these. I just take them off if I need to use my phone. Would definitely recommend these and I would buy again if ever needed.

Ideal Liner Gloves - perfect for petite hands!

I have pretty small hands so I often find it hard to find gloves that fit me well. The REI Co-Op Liners fit great! They are thin enough that they fit under my ski mittens but also provide enough warmth that I've worn them for fall hikes. The touch grips work as well as any other pair of touch gloves I have and I appreciate the fastener buckle so I can keep them together when storing.

Long term use

Had these liners for several years and they still look new, no tears, nada. I suffer from cold fingers even in temps in the low 50’s if the conditions are right here in the Bay Area, so I often have these with me on daily hikes. Unless it gets really cold these liners stave off most conditions and keep my digits from numbing up. Mine are also pre touch screen capable but do what they supposed to do and nothing more. Used them on a two-hr hike in 38 degrees and as usual, no complaints.

Returned, defective

They were comfortable but the stitching was of poor quality and developed a hole in the wrist within a few weeks of purchase.. REI would not do a straight exchange for a replacement pair (the price had risen nearly $10 between when they were purchased and when I returned them to a store)

Great gloves

They're thin enough to fit under another pair of gloves comfortably but also thick enough to be worn on their own for cool weather hikes and cycling. The touch screen pads on the fingers are great and seem to work much better than other pairs of gloves I have.

Good but not great

TLDR: These gloves keep my hands warm but a little disappointed in durability. I have had these gloves for over a year now and they have been great each time I have needed them. I have smaller hands so bought the small and while still a little larger they fit well. I like that they fit them into larger gloves but are also good if you just want a light layer. I also do really like the clip on them and being able to keep them together in my bag. The gloves work on my touchscreens and overall no complaints on general functionality. My one issue with them is I have noticed a hole starting to appear on one of the fingers. A little disappointed they aren't holding up better as I didn't wear them a ton in the year that I had them but I will keep wearing them until it makes sense to get a new pair.

Perfect glove liners

These are great glove liners, a far improvement from the previous version. I checked the sizing, and I was surprised that REI recommended a Medium. I measured to be sure, and Medium was the perfect size. Great fit, great weight for colder spring mornings. I would buy again.
