REI Co-op  Trailsmith Fleece Jacket - Men's Tall Sizes

I'm 6'3", 190. I usually am a large tall, but this runs way too big and bulky. There is way too much space under the arm, and seems better suited overall for someone with about 50lbs more heft to them. On a positive note, the zippers feel very high quality, and the green color looks great in person (it looks a touch darker to me than it did in the photos).

I'm 6-4, 200 and picked the Large Tall. I'm tired of purchasing outdoor clothing that is too short in the sleeves or body. I'm glad that REI carries "tall" sizes. This fleece is really well made and good materials. The length on the sleeves is good but it's really big around the body. I decided to keep it just to wear around the house as it is the most comfortable and warm fleece I've owned. Next time I'll look forward to trying things on in person.

Read all the reviews and was tentative. I’m 6’5”, 225lbs, and a 36 waist. I have pretty wide shoulders and a wide upper back, so I usually wear an XL in everything to fit my upper half as well as have long enough arms/torso. Went with the large tall in this jacket, and it fits great. Arm and torso length is perfect. Maybe a few inches bigger than my waist in diameter, but it’s way better than some of the other REI “boxy” fit jackets in an XL. Perfect for my liking, and has a nice fit. Good quality zippers and material. Stoked to sport this jacket in the cold or in spring.

I'm 6'3" 193 lbs. As others mentioned, it runs a bit on the larger side, which I agree with because I went to the store and tried on a Regular M, Regular L and Tall M and Tall L. The sleeves on the regular were too short, even in a large which is my usual size, but the Tall Medium was a perfect fit. I almost never wear a Tall or a Medium. I like to wear it in the house while working from home on the computer and doing zoom meetings and decided on the Indigo color with the light blue zippers because it will compliment my button-down shirts and look cheerful. The cuff style is not my favorite, but overall, the style is nice. This one will be a regular part of my work-from-home wardrobe.

Sleeves length is fine, but chest and shoulders is too oversized. Looks like this is an ordinary XL marked as M Tall. Actual chest size of the item is 48 inches.

Pretty good fit for a tall guy (6’4”). I appreciate that REI has a decent selection of stuff in tall sizes. It’s a little baggy but in a comfy way. The tighter fleece gives it a bit of wind resistance, more than some other fleece I’ve had.

I'm glad I read the other reviews of this jacket before buying it. I normally wear a size Large in shirts and jackets, but the sleeves in that size are always about 2" too short for me. The Medium Tall fits me perfectly, and seems to be about the same size around the middle as the non-tall Large size. So, I'd recommend that you order a size smaller than you would normally wear. This same thing happens with some of the other REI tops like their Sahara shirts. I'm not a fleece jacket sort of guy, but I love wearing this on the trail or around town. It's very warm and comfortable without being too bulky. The zippers are large and easy to use even with gloves on, and all the pockets are very generously sized. The internal pockets are an unexpected bonus, though I probably won't use them much. One negative I'll mention is that the cuffs on the jacket are quite loose, so they don't produce much of a seal around the wrists. But it's not really a big deal as you'll probably be wearing this with other layers or gloves in extremely cold conditions. I'm bummed that the Tall size only comes in blue and black - I really like the orange that the normal size jacket comes in. But the blue is a pretty nice too.

A little boxy, very lightweight. My biggest complaint is the wind goes right through this. I have other fleeces that do a much better job of blocking the wind.
