Great shorts but size up!
These shorts are a great length meaning I don’t need to use anti chafe balm when running and the seams are smooth so no chafing from that either. Both the side and back pockets fit my phone and would be good for energy gels too. There’s a smaller pocket on the inner waist band that would easily fit a case for ear pods as well as keys/card etc. These shorts do run small as they are a tight fit, I got both my normal size and the size up after reading reviews and my normal size was far too small, the larger size fitted as my normal size usually does.
True to size, slim thighs
Reviews all say small, so I sized up. Too big so reviewing for balance. I would say they are slim through the thigh but true to size at the waist, so will suit a certain body shape and not others. I've re-ordered in my usual size as they have a good medium-thick stretch fabric, good pockets and a drawstring waist so potentially practical for spring/summer distance training. Couldn't wear a size up as the waist was too big and too high and those clever waist/hip pockets rely on a properly snug fit to hold items against the body.
No good for big thighs
These ticked all of my boxes - pocket for phone, zip pocket for key, tie waist. Unfortunately they are so tight around the seam on the thigh that they make my legs bulge. I tried the small and medium (normally a small in the leggings, I’m normally a 10/12 on bottoms) and both did the same on my thighs. Maybe I just have bigger thighs than the average person, but as running shorts it’s not ideal. Returned them, and very disappointed.
Great pocket, great fit
I tend to buy the same size from Nike, L for 16-18. These strangely felt a bit more snug, to the point where it looked like my legs had a slight bulge, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. Unlike in the photo, they come up a bit shorter; my 2XU running shorts look more like the photo - and I’m 165cm - than these shorts. Having said that, I had no problem with my legs rubbing together during runs, and the shorts didn’t ride up (very important if you have chunky thighs like me!). The phone pocket was great. I could fit my 5.8” phone in on the move without any problems, and a 6.1” phone also fits with the elastics top closing over it nicely. I bought these because I wanted a pair of shorts I could run in during Summer that fitted my phone, and wasn’t disappointed. I love the feel and fit of these shorts, would buy again, and the price isn’t unreasonable compared to some of the competition.
Weird Seam on Legs
These shorts would be fine if they didn't dig into my thighs at the bottom. The seam at the bottom leg holes is not stretchy at all, and feels like a tight piece of string that is wrapped around my lower thighs. I will have medium sized thighs and these seems will just be uncomfortable. Not going to wear them and might return.
Really nice running shorts!
Love these shorts! The back pocket is big enough to hold your phone and the side pocket can hold keys/nutrition perfectly! the drawstring on the inside is also super nice for making them fit many different body types. They do run a little bit small. I got a size medium and usually wear a small/size 6 short.
Super tight - run small
I bought a medium and I’m a pretty solid size 6. They were soooooo tight I didn’t even bother trying to pull them over my bum. They’re probably meant to be tight/compression fit but I prefer stretchy and a more slightly relaxed comfortable fit for my active wear.
Tight but great for running
I got these shorts for the second time now. I run weekly with them, do yoga, and also marathons. They fit quite tightly but they don’t move even a bit while running which is perfect. If you are in between sizes, I’d recommend sizing up!
Size Up
Initially bought the small as this is my usual size with Nike bottoms but had to get the medium instead. They fit great now in the medium and the legs do not roll up at all which is great.

Best running short I own. Fit perfectly and don’t ride up when I run. They are the perfect length so I don’t get chafe !!
