Great Mid-Light Weight Fleece
Very happy with this fleece. I'll be using it in cool weather as a stand alone jacket and also layering under a shell for skiing/snowboarding. For me this piece is a nice balance of great fit on it's own as well as not having too much weight to layer with. I went through a pretty lengthy search for this type of item, but felt like this hit the sweet spot. NOTE, it runs smaller than typical. I noticed the size chart is accurate, I had tried a large at first, which I would typically wear in something like this. I am 6'2" and 190lbs with a 42" chest and an XL ended up fitting great. It's trimmer cut and has plenty of arm and body length, which I often struggle to find as a taller slimmer guy. Also, the fleece is on the thinner side, but it is a grid pattern style, which seems to offer more warmth than typical of a similar thickness.

Does NOT have any sort of odor control
Not a hippie here, I wear deodorant every day, but this fleece reaaally traps in scents and BO. I'll wear them after I workout (not a heavy sweat person either) to go back outside when its cool and just that light physical exposure to another short that doesn't smell, transfers the BO to the fleece and then it smells more than the gym-wear does.

Awesome hoodie!

I bought this as a garage sale item so I got a good deal but after wearing it I have to say that I would pay full price. No drawstring on the hood but not really needed do to a snug fit. The material feels great and it packs down small so I can throw it in my backpack when I don't need it. Overall it's a great hoodie for a cool day, only downside is the price but it's worth it

made for the slim and lanky

I’m 5ft 6in 170lbs athletic build with shorter arms. In a medium the Arms were perfect length with the thumb hole design but it is too tight around the upper arm and it was just barely too tight around the chest. A large fit better but was still pretty tight around the arms. Arm length was too long. Not really sure this was worth 145$ honestly. I wouldn’t pay over $70 for it.

All day

Go to midlayer. Don't know you have it on, no restriction of movement. Excellent all round fleece.

Expensive, but seems good for daily wear

I've owned this fleece for a few months now. I purchased it with a 20% discount, and thus far, it's been quite adequate for my usage's. I live in an area that stays cooler, even in the summer months, so this has been great for walking my dog during the day. It ventilates well, while keeping me warm enough in high 50, or low 60 degree temperatures with a short sleeve shirt underneath. Thus far, I've no issues with fraying or any other product malfunctions. It's very nice looking (my wife likes the way I look in it), and it's easy to travel with, due to its packability potential. My only complaint is it's price. I'm not a manufacturing guru, but I do feel as though this could have been sold for more like the $80 - $100 price range. This is my reason for 4 stars. Nonetheless, I will definitely be keeping this fleece, and I can imagine it will last for quite a long time.

Good, but the others are better.

I am 5'11, 200 lbs and am size XL in every "Big name" brand sold at REI. Glad I was able to try on in the store as the XL was way too tight in the torso and XXL did fit, although snug. With this XXL, now the sleeves are 3" too long. Other than that, the fleece and hood are comfortable and warm, wicking sweat well and drying fast if you get wet with light rain. After six months, the suede zipper pull extension on one of the pockets broke off. What's left is a very tiny metal zipper pull, so I'm going to have to figure out a fix (Paracord?). This was my first Fjallraven jacket, but will probably be my last. For the price, I'll stick to the brands I already know (All of which have ZERO faults.)

Well made, great color

Very nice fleece. The forest green color is rich and looks great. The pockets are good too. I'm not so sure I'd really call it a "jacket"; more like a hoodie really. The size M fit me perfectly (5'11"/165). It's a bit lighter than I expected, but overall it's well made and will be good for fall.

Very nice looking, but a tad tight

I have an athletic build and normally buy XL fleece jackets, which have a somewhat loose fit on my body. This one in XL was pretty tight in the chest and the arms, so it runs a little smaller than your typical size. I can't go a size larger because then the sleeves will be too long, so I'm hoping to break this in. The look and feel are great and it makes for a nice mid-layer.

Great lightweight hooded fleece!

I am a bike packer and gravel rider. I underestimated how good this fleece would be on the bike. It breathes super well but is warm on the downhills. Conversely it is stylish at work. It is a base/ mid layer , not a bulky fleece. It’s streamlined enough to wear on a bike or running. I can see this as a base layer for skiing this winter and nordic ski adventures. It’s light enough to come along backpacking or bike touring.

Great mid layer

I really like this jacket. Very comparable to the Patagonia R1. I liked the feel, look, of this one. I'm usually a medium in everything but for this I went large which is perfect. Its a slim fit which I like for a mid layer. Went perfectly fine over my long sleeve hiking shirt and wasn't too bulky under my puffy. Very comfortable. Slept in it all 3 nights on my last trip with temps around 40. I was very warm all night, no rain fly. I recommend for sure.
