Great hat
I got this hat on clearance. I normally don’t wear hats but I was headed for several desert activities for a week and thought this would be a great addition to my sunscreen I already use. I absolutely love it. It worked great. I thought I looked stellar in it. I used a kavu pack. Other reviews I read talked about it being too low in the back and it hit their pack. My pack wasn’t that big. I wore a ponytail and it worked. The strap stayed strapped and stayed on my head, not one instance of it blowing off my head. Very packable. I rolled it up and shoved it in my language. I had to reshape it a tad but came back just fine. I’m very happy with this purchase.
Help for My Summer Ealks
I thought this might look kind of nerdy on me but ordered it anyway. Glad I took a chance. Am used to wearing baseball caps to protect my head and shield my face. It’s about time I tried a wider brim for my face and neck.
Happy head
I bought this hat because I need protection from the sun on hikes and walks. It fits beautifully--a large on my large-sized head, with the crown close of my head rather than sitting too high. It is very light weight so I do not feel that it planted heavily on my head, and thankfully it breathes nicely. The wind can flip up the brim, but it snaps back quickly. The color is an attractive pale grayish purple. Very happy with this hat!
Light and stylish
It’s very light and stylish, perfect for sunny day outings. It comes in different sizes rather than one size fits all, which is nice. One sized hat could never fit all, in my opinion. I tried on the size in the store and ordered online. For some reason, it’s cheaper ordered online!
Good but rubs on my pack
I want to love this hat, and if I didn't have a pack on I would. But it rubs against my pack continuously, and it's loud when it does. It is cool and comfortable.

Big Head, Big Coverage
I have a large head, most hats don't fit or provide coverage. I like the slanted back of hat that covers the neck area. The had fits my large head. The front brim covers my face well. The adjustable cord kept the hat secure in high winds as I walked home. Bought gray as an alternative color to beige hat I have had for several years. Like the idea of foam allowing hat to float instead of saturate and sink. Happy with my new color, style and look.
Checkout was so slow and customers were ignored
Hat is good, but the pickup at the store disappointed me. It took me 20 minutes to get it and just one was before me in the line. I complained when it was my turn, but they seemed they didn’t care it. They should add more checkouts when the customer waited too long. And they should speed up it. But they enjoyed too much the talk with some customers and ignored other customers. It was not a leisure but a job.
Love this Sombrero!
This hat is perfect for hiking. I was on an REI trip in 100 degrees and the hat helped protect my face from the sun. It is very comfortable, easy to pack and washable.
