Awesome soft blanket….
I purchased 2 of these. They are so soft and comfortable. I slept like a baby, and so did my fur baby. I really like the pattern on it for camping use. For a lightweight blanket, it has been great at keeping me comfortable and warm.

Not sure I would call this a "blanket"...
...and I sure wouldn't call it either "flannel" or "fleece". I gave it two stars because it is really pretty, and would make a great throw on a bed or couch if you didn't count on it to keep you warm. Very thin - imagine a regular cotton sheet on one side and super-thin "mouse fur" fabric on the other. If you got this fabric advertised as either a "fleece" or "flannel" shirt you would send it back - just not what you would expect from either of those words, which is why I wanted to write a review. I kept it to throw over my reading chair, but still use my old ratty cotton blanket to put over my lap when I read in the mornings (and I live in California). Can't imagine using it outside.

Nice blanket

Doogy loves it! She hates dog sweaters, but loves cuddling in blankets with me. Nice size. It is thin, but can still be used car camping, road trips, lounging indoors and outdoors and keeping your pets warm. I plan to use year-round. Will take blanket outdoors soon to test durability, cleaning and warmth. Purchased during sale.

We got in a big fight over this...

Thin but mighty! I was concerned this might be too thin based on some reviews, and it is light, but it's awesomely warm and cozy. It's perfect for throwing over your sleeping bag when it's a little too chilly, warms it right up.Nice to snuggle in, also. One side feels like a cloud, the other like a warm cup of tea. Love it, except so do my dogs and we got in a big fight over it - I lost, so I'm buying another.

Bed/Travel/Couch/Anywhere

Got this blanket as a gift for Christmas. Warm, light and soft. Withstands multiple washes on a warm gentle cycle. Yes, it’s thin but I use it as a sleeping bag mid layer and produces a lot of heat while winter car camping. Perfect to pack away on long road trips, keep on the couch/bed, or to swing in the hammock with. I don’t know how it would perform in colder temperatures but it’s the perfect blanket to spend Arizona winters in. Gotta fight my cat for it sometimes because it’s her favorite blanket too!

Travel/Couch

My new favorite couch and travel blanket. I use this this for lounging in the couch for coziness. And recently for traveling in the car on a long road trip. I love the design! It keeps my spirits up. It’s has very soft fleece on the inside and was just what I was looking for. I made a mistake of buying three throw blankets from target that fell apart (same pricing) that I returned. This was a new item at REI when I was shopping and happened to be looking for a blanket of better quality. It’s been across country with me for a month and has with held a lot!

Durable, warm, perfect

I got one of these (a green tartan print) maybe two years ago now. I had my eye on it forever before buying, as I thought $60 was a little steep. I've never once regretted buying this blanket! I use it every night on my bed, on the couch, and when I go car camping, and it's held up to all that use. It's come with me from undergrad to grad school. The fleece hasn't pilled or lost its quality, the flannel is super warm without being staticky. It's not thick, but it definitely has a weight to it without being bulky or unyieldy. It's always what I need when I need to be a tad warmer. I wash it on tap cold, regular. I've hang-dried it, dried it on low with dryer sheets or wool balls, and it always turns out perfect. It's about 75% of the length and 100% the width of a full bed. Definitely a must-buy for the couch, the dorm room, the car, the picnic basket, whatever. Couldn't ask for a more perfect blanket!

LOVE IT

I bought first the Pirate Black color, which I love. The blanket has the perfect combination of fabrics. Sometimes I am in the mood for fleece, and sometimes for flannel. I just have to flip the blanked over and problem solved. My poodle mix dog sleeps in the blanket too and we don't have any problem with fur. I live in VA and I use it instead of my duvet. I think is warm enough for me and I see myself using it for car camping or traveling. I have purchased another color and I am excited to have another blanket too (just in case REI stops making them)
