Excellent
If I had to have one pair of shoes for every puddle in the world, these are it. They are so comfortable. I got them and wore them brand new all over on my vacation. They were not only very weather-resistant, but I was the only one in my party who wasn't having ankle and foot pain. The boots are easy to pull on even over thick wool socks (I would recommend getting the size up from your size if you're a half size like me). I even went through airport security with them and they were easier than I expected to get back on quickly. They're warm enough even for colder days and have a bit of a lining. Would recommend highly.
warm, sturdy and comfortable
I love these boots. I started wearing them immediately. Even though I have some big, old winter boots for cold weather and snow, I really love that these boots can keep my feet warm and dry without having to haul on my big snow boots. These are perfect for when it’s slushy or things have been plowed already (not for slogging in deep snow or super cold weather). I am looking forward to wearing these into the cold spring months, too. They are SO comfortable and feel really sturdy— like I could walk for miles and miles!
Perfect Stylish Versatile Boot!
I own three pairs of these boots. They are excellent. Sizing is spot on. I wear an 8 and I can wear them with a thicker or thin sock or no sock at all and they just fit. They look good with narrow pants, boot cut, wide leg. They are just an excellent boot. They keep my feet warm and dry. Are easy on and off. I wear them all year long and my feet stay nice and dry. I live in Alaska so to have a boot that can be used all throughout the year is really saying something. They are stylish enough I wear them to the office and I don't take them off and change into another shoe. I also wear them to do chores around my place. Just a perfect versatile boot!
Im very happy with the comfort, functionality, and look
I love this boot. I bought it for work, I'm a city Park Ranger, and need something comfortable and waterproof. I've worn them a few days now and find they get the job done plus I like how they look. I tried a number of other styles at the same time I ordered these, and it was a no brainer to pick these bc of how supportive they are. I wear Hokas as my alternate foot wear on dry days and these are up there with Hokas. I did add an extra insert for comfort, only slim memory foam that I put in all my shoes, and there was still comfortable space left for lt foot, but not so loose I was overly slipping around like in some sturdy rain boots.
These are cute rain boots. Waterproof and they have a good tread for walking on snow. The negative-35 temperature rating is an exaggeration though. I wore them with wool socks in 30 degree weather and my feet got cold. They're way too thin to keep feet warm in super-chilly temps. Comfy & stretchy, but not much support -- I added some superfeet insoles to help with that. Nice for spring, fall, and slushy 'warm' winter days.
Great for walking the dog in winter!
I received these plush-lined boots just a few weeks ago, and they've been perfect for winter walks! I was seeking a warmer alternative to my beloved Blundstone boots (which offer a shearling-lined version, but it's just the footbed). I really appreciate that the footbed and sides of the boot are lined, as well as the waterproof exterior. I'm not sure how they will hold up over time, but I'm very happy about the purchase thus far! (One note -- several reviewers mentioned wearing the boots without socks. I found that the edge of the boot around the ankle chafed too much to do that, unless it was a super quick trip to take the dog out.)
Not comfortable for extended wear
I bought these rain boots for myself and my mom for an overseas trip. They are extremely uncomfortable for walking as they rub blisters. The glued on size tag in the front of the inside of the boot is also very uncomfortable and scratches your skin. The back loop you use to pull the boot on broke on my and my mom’s boots with minimal wear. They look cute, but I don’t recommend at all.
Not for a Minnesota Winter :(
I want to love these, but there is no way these are rated to 13 degrees BELOW zero unless you are ok with frostbite on your toes. After wearing them for many weeks in Minnesota weather, I'd say 13 above zero is about as low as you can comfortably go, and that's if you have on heavy wool socks and are moving at a good clip. Otherwise these are great for walking around in rain and/or snow, but don't count on them for truly cold temps. Disappointing as I needed them for a few miles of walking each day to and from my daughter's school and was expecting them to work for all but the very worst weather a Minnesota winter has to offer.
stylish, waterproof
This is a nice and stylish rain boot. It keeps my feet dry; I have not experienced any leaks. They are shorter than I expected, but still a good shoe. If you are looking for an adventuring boot, I would go with something taller. They do not seem suited for trekking through a deep muddy field but good for a stylish rainy day. Not super breathable, so be aware your feet may get a bit hot, but that is the trade off for the waterproof. I am happy with this purchase.
Not my favorite Bogs
These are nice "rain" boots. I would not recommend them for the snow, I don't see how they are rated to -13 degrees. They are rubber boots with a thin fussy liner. They are good for rainy weather and great for mud. I'm usually a womens size 7.5 and ordered the 7 and they fit well. They run narrow and do not provide any arch support, I had to put in a Superfeet insert. Superfeet inserts are not cheap so for the total price of the boots and the inserts I could of just bought an all around better boot. I have other Bogs that are absolutely amazing, I've recommended them to multiple friends, however these boots are not up to the same standard. I don't think i'd recommend.
