Camping Tent for 4 people

Tent is easy to setup, and it took only a few minutes to put it up. It is roomy for 2 peeps and 3 medium size dogs plus necessities and tall enough for you (im 5 ft 9 inches) to standup without touching your head. 4-stars bc i hadn't used the tent in nature yet.

Some good features

I really wanted to love this tent. There are a lot of good things about it like the two doors and a spacious interior even with a queen size air mattress. And I can stand up in it (I'm 5'8"). I'm sure the tarp will be great in rain. The reason I don't love it is you can't control the air flow from inside the tent. There are no interior zips that cover the netting which also means no privacy unless the tarp is on. To control air flow you have to to roll up part of the vestibule or stake the tarp closer to the tent for more warmth, which has to be done by going outside of the tent. So at 3 in the morning when it might be a little chilly, there is no way to close the tent doors. Also, if you hear something outside of the tent and want to see what it is, you can't unless you open the vestibule. The photo doesn't show the vestibule staked out, it's rolled up and the door is open.

Solid Tent

Bought this tent on discount. I have liked M.H. ever since I bought a $100 tent and it stayed dry for 3 days of rain. This is a tent that will stand up to rain and wind. I like the design. The white doesn’t hide dirt tho, but whatever. Quick set up and takedown. Stuff sack ripped rite away, but that’s not a big deal. Roomy enough for my gf and and kid. Don’t hesitate to buy- it’s a good one.

Weak Material, Replacement Provided at a Cost

The tent floor developed holes after just one use—it’s made of very thin material. Overall, I’m pretty unimpressed with the quality. I’m giving it three stars because ALPS did send me a replacement tent body for $30, but I wouldn’t purchase this tent again.

Zipper fail

Loved the tent, but after 4 years of 5 weekends a year use, the zippers all failed. I tried pinching and replacing slides, but they were not fixed. To the landfill it goes.
