Updated Snap-T
Bought this on a whim while I was in REI and I’m glad I did! It’s very similar to the classic Patagonia Snap-T with a few differences. First, the exterior is made of a soft, plush sherpa fleece. There is a large kangaroo-style pouch on the front with two entries for your hands. The buttons are large and easy to use. Wore my new pullover today on a walk with my dog and it did well. It was chilly (upper 40s/low 50s) and windy. I noticed a little air moving through the fabric but not much. Kept me warm throughout the walk.
Very disappointed
Very disappointed. I wore this jacket for the first time today to go hiking. Then the jacket shed lint and was not warm. I could feel the cold wind coming in. The fleece easily stuck to my backpack, which made me very embarrassed during the trip.
Keeps me cozy
I keep my house cool in winter, so often I want/need something a bit cozy to wear. I had a very old item, wool/cotton of a type that hasn’t been made in decades, and was getting too threadbare to keep wearing. Knowing that fit is important, I went to my local REI store to see what was out there. This one seemed to be very nice, and the fit, a little snug, but the larger size would have been too roomy. This not only looks nice, it feels great to wear and knowing it is from Patagonia, it should outlive me. Even outside in some low 40's temperature and a bit of wind, it felt fine for short periods of time. Inside, I feel even more cozy. And the arm length is fine, which was a concern since often they are too long. The pockets are a bit strange, since they function more like a muff than separate pockets. This weekend is supposed to be near freezing,. so bicycling should be a good test for this, under my regular cold weather jacket.
Awesome Piece!
got this in the plum color and absolutely love it. A lot of shearling or fleece products don't cut out wind very well but I find that this one does the job nicely. If you pair it with a jacket or coat on colder days you'll stay nice and warm without overheating. It'll keep you warm and comfortable on chilly mornings or fall days and evenings. I like it so much that i'll probably be getting another color. It has a slightly roomier fit that patagonia normally goes with which I like. I got to try this on in store before I purchased. I am usually a L or XL in their tops but I went with L and it still fit a little roomy on me. The XL was way too long in the body but still fit nice up top. Keep in mind if you have a longer torso.
nifty little fella
Quite warm. Gotta love the charming buttons. An absolute classic. Very nifty.
Good casual pullover for trekking
I really like this pullover. Was a bit worried about the color but now I think it is a good winter color. The fit is good for me. I ordered a small which for Patagonia is just right for me at 5'8" and 135 lbs. Surprisingly it is very warn in fact warmer than I thought it would be. Good purchase and as always Patagonia never lets me down.
Teddy Bear Fleece
This is decievingly warm! The large pocket reaches all the way though. I have worn it as my main jacket as well as a layer. Its wonderful! The fit is generous and relaxed.
The essential outdoors fleece
Excellent build quality. Warm but breathable, rugged, roomy, stylish, and absolutely essential for all the hikes I did in Ireland and Scotland. Buy these with confidence.
Patagonian
I haven’t bought this product in a while. In the day their product was made solid. When I did buy it, it was traveling. I enjoy this product, it is made well
Great
Great product. Went with an XL when I wear a L in the regular sweater because my broader shoulders seemed to fit better. Overall very warm, would recommend.
