No, I do not recommend this product
I usually like the changes made to new versions, but I am quite disappointed in these. I bought them to replace my 2019 Gamma AR pants, which I used as my main winter pants. I can't imagine using the new version for the same purpose. The material is way thinner. And the fit is much slimmer, not great for layering underneath or fitting them over big boots. I have the regular Gamma pants in the same size and they fit way better. Not really sure what the use case is here with the new ARs. Maybe the MX is the new winter pant?

Too slim fit

1.Fit is unfortunately a Lot more slim fit. 2.Fabric is Different than the older version. I have the 2023 versión and this current new fabric is Slightly thinner and feels not so embodied. I bought 2 units to feed my needs for a long time because i wanted them for my 1st option and, sadly, when i tried, they were so slim that i had to return them. A real pity

Great versatile pants
High quality pants, very comfortable and they feel extremely durable. The fabric is clearly different from my other gamma pants and stands out as they feel less 'shell-like' while still being more durable. One downside is that for wintertime these pants will not work standalone and require a baselayer as the fabric passes on the cold instead of insulation you from it, which is a pity for such a sturdy pants. Some minor remarks about the fit. I do like the slim fit overall with the exception of the bottom part, they are too slim to comfortable fall over your shoes which makes them feel too long as they bundle up because of that in contrary to the GAMMA SL pants i own too (i am 1m93cm with proportionally longer legs and bought the 34 Tall version). So the tall version of the Gamma AR feels like it is made for really really tall people :) One aestethic niggle is the stitching below the knee, i don't see the benefit of that, but maybe i'm missing something and take a little bit away from the otherwise perfect versatility of the gamma line up being able to work for both an outdoor & and an urban setting. Overall very pleased but some small remarks to improve upon these pants. :) I would recommend these pants over the other gamma lineup for people needing a pants with a focus on durability.
