Great Jacket

Great jacket for the price. Love the colors, decent fit, and warm without being bulky. Kept me warm in single digit temps in Utah with just a thin fleece and base layer underneath. It has good ventilation so I don’t get too warm on warmer days in the PNW. I normally wear a long sleeve T or light base layer only when it’s in the high 20’s to low 30’s. I’m a person that gets cold easily too. It has a nice pass pocket on the sleeve for resorts that do RFID scanners. Phone pocket on the inside too. Overall I’m super happy with the jacket. I prefer a relaxed larger fit, so had they not been sold out of Mediums when they bought it I probably would have sized up one but the small fits overall (I’m 135-140lbs, slender, smaller chest with a short torso and wider hips if that helps for someone on the fence on sizes). If you’re looking for a jacket to wear in a variety of temps this is a great option. I also ride quite a bit so I’ve worn it a decent amount this season.

Not warm enough

Really liked the color: muted but not the awful dark winter color that is so popular this winter. Returning the jacket because not warm enough. Very little insulation so it is hard to feel confident it would function well in the cold, damp PNW winter. Probably better for a moderately cool fall/spring day. Also, medium was too large even if I wore layers underneath.

Great jacket!

Works great and love all the features like the glove link, armpit vents, and pockets. I am a size small and was comfortable with just a base layer in 35+F temps. I recommend a fleece base layer if wearing this in below freezing weather. I do wish the hood was bigger and/or had toggles instead of just a drawcord to keep it cinched and help it stay over my helmet! Also the neck coverage is a little high when fully zipped which can impair your vision when wearing snowboarding goggles. I got lots of compliments and love the design.

Perfect Jacket

Just got this jacket for a ski weekend and love it! Temps were in the single digits, and this kept me warm with just a wool base layer. It's also just roomy enough to be really comfortable without being too baggy. All the pockets are perfect for credit cards, phone, season pass, etc... I got the desert rose colorblock and the colors are just as pictured. I wanted something bright so my family could easily spot me :)

Quite large

I ordered an S just in case I want to stuff some sweaters inside. It is quite long which I guess is good for skiing so you don't get snow inside. The material isn't as nice as some other jackets I have, but I mostly bought it for the hello kitty collection. Personally I think I should've gotten an XS bc I have thermal tops that are thinner that still keep me warm, but I can't wait to wear it with my overalls!

Dream Come True for Hello Kitty Fan!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this jacket so much even though I’m a grown woman and have received many compliments (mostly from little girls :joy:). I also have the matching bob pants. Since the pants are a shell and the jacket more of a spring skiing weight, I bought size M to ensure I had a bit of room for layering. My friends all tell me the colours enable them to see me from far away which I also find a plus.

Lovely

The fit is perfect. I love the inner pockets- one inner side has nice mesh sized one (perfect for the phone), the other side is like a mini wallet. I love the design and all the little details that makes 686 the brand I always go back to! And it’s very warm- got to test it out with some lovely -16 degree temps last weekend!

Love this!

The pockets are great the sleeve pocket for you pass/ goggle cleaner is a little hard to open but on the other side of that I’m not afraid I’ll lose anything i put in there. The pockets are huge i love the cord holder for my headphones. I’m really happy with my gear upgrade for this season.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fit true to size! Awesome grouping of colors! Warm and very fashionable. I haven’t had time to ski due to Holidays but look forward to showing my ski friends my new coat! Service was fabulous and came within days of placing my order. Thank you 686!
