Best liquid chalk I've used

I've used several liquid chalks at this point, and either they're just white hand sanitizer, or they're so chalky that they plug up the nozzle and the first time use any day requires over pressurizing the tube to get the dried chalk out. I've had this chalk now for awhile, and have had none of those issues. It's an amazing base layer, a really good patch system and it hangs in there longer than other liquid chalks do. The bottle also doesn't clog, and the consistency of the liquid is definitely more liquid than paste. Really happy with this product and I don't plan to go back.

You won't regret it the "Magic Sauce."

I have learned to affectionally call this stuff "magic sauce." I initially bought liquid chalk because we had planned a climbing trip to Arcadia National park. We were climbing during some soggy, rainy, and muggy conditions but the chalk held out. Since that trip, I've used this for all my climbing/hang board sessions. I put a drop on before I climb and it acts as a wonderful initial chalk layer to the chalk in my bag. Also, my climbing friends and I debate about the smell: we have come to the conclusion that it smells like apples. (shrug)

Game changer!

Game changer! I have tried a few other brands of liquors chalk and this one has truly made a difference. I have sweaty hands and use loads of chalk. Not only does this stay on better without constant reapplication, but I end up using less loose chalk as well. Even my climbing partner loves it and now we have a big bottle of another brand that we liked over others that now just sits as backup in her pack as she prefers this. Works well for my sweaty hands.

Replaced the Other Liquid Chalk I Had Been Using

I've been used to Friction Labs liquid chalk but didn't much care for the high price. Compared to FL, this is a much "runnier" liquid which surprised me at first but turns out being fine. It coats my fingers and hands well and dries up quickly leaving my hand sweat free and grippier feeling. It also has a better fragrance than the standard alcohol smell of other brands. It gets the job done for a good price.

Great for gym climbing... if needed

My hands sweat in the winter... some people need chalk all of the time... I'm one of those people. This is perfect for gym climbing to keep the aerosolized shenanigans to a minimum. It's also great to use this as a base prior to climbing. It will allow additional applications to stick a little better as the alcohol will have helped to dry up your skin just a little more.

Contains Rosin

Was disappointed to find that this product contains rosin, particularly since rosin is generally discouraged from use at most outdoor climbing areas due to the damage it causes to the rock. Rosin is also a known allergin, and it would be good to see this clearly stated on the website.

Works great for the indoor climbing I’ve done with it. I like the full coverage my hands get with it in an easier manner than standard chalk. That said, it certainly burns any cracks you have on your fingers.

Peace of Mind

I don't actually know if liquid chalk is superior to dry chalk or last longer or anything like that, but there is definitely a beneficial mental effect of having it on for the challenging sends.

Much better than before

Good consistency. Great grip and lasts a long time. Better than the other liquid chalks I’ve tried in the past. Looks like BD also finally listened and got rid of the rosin in the newer bottles

So good

If dry chalk is a 10. Liquid is a 8. Due to the inability to reapply mid route. Product works great. On the ground.
