Wider than other Smartwool tops
I have a few other casual tops from Smartwool that fit great, but this one in the same size was a half inch wider, making the fit too boxy for me. (Maybe a size down would work?) Too bad, because I love the color and styling. Bell sleeves not very ‘belled’, just a subtle flare. For reference, I’m 5’7”, 120lbs, pear shaped, and normally wear small in their shirts/medium in base layers.
Great sweater!
Love this sweater. Not bulky, merino wool. Warm. Can layer easily under jackets. Fits me perfectly. size Small, 5'4, 135 pounds. I bought a second in another color.
Subtle, Unique Design
I've gotten slews of compliments on this lovely sweater. Perfect weight and cut, interesting texture, beautiful deep pine color with turquoise accents. The bell sleeves took some getting used to but are easily pushed up when they get in my way.
strange fit
I have several Smartwool sweaters and they usually fit a bit smaller than other brands, but this one is strange... it’s very long and VERY narrow. Even ordering a size up was way too narrow and WAY too long.
Runs small in torso, otherwise a pretty sweater
Pro: Beautiful feel and weight to the sweater, pretty sleeves, pretty colors, great length. Con: The fit is off, the torso is straight up and down like it is made for someone with a very small chest. Sizing up may help but the sleeves will then be too long. The contract at the sides of the neckline is not very flattering. Will sadly need to be returned
perfect for indoor lounging only
I love the weight and cut even though boxy as other reviews have mentioned. It works with my body type. Unfortunately, this waters peels like a 10 year old sweater within the first use. Peeling is normal with natural fabrics but this one holds the records. I haven't experience the same issue with other smart wool sweaters.
Just Okay
It didn't keep this top. I should have noticed the widening of the sleeves by the wrist. Not my thing. But the picture is exactly how the sweater looks.
