Solid product

The product provides great support but you must take care to ensure your foot doesn't separate the pads from the fabric when inserting your foot.

Comfortable and supportive

I awakened and aggravated an old insertional achilles injury i got from marathon training four years ago by climbing slab. After staying off it and relying on crutches for a week, this thing was an off the shelf solution. The pads in the sleeve feel comfortable and stabilized my achilles. I recommend you only use it once youve somewhat healed since it is a bit of a stretch to slip on, pun intended. Doesn't really smell if you wear over a sock (but of course wash it in a bag with your other clothes from time to time). Pretty happy with the quality of protec products in general.

A Miracle Worker for MyAchilles!

I began suffering for the first time from Achilles tendinitis 5 weeks ago. Rest, ice, elevation ( a much as possible) and a variety of compression braces and wraps bought from CVS and Walmart brought me minimal relief for weeks. So I added the stretches and strengthening. Minimal results. Finally this arrived in the mail 10 days ago. THANK YOU, designer of this brace! Although the pressure applied by the support pads in the back is a bit uncomfortable ( because it has too be quite snug to do it’s job supporting), I felt a noticeable improvement in my Achilles at night and the first morning after when the brace was off. Each day it has improved. I now feel no pain, symptoms are gone, but I will wear it an extra week or so just to be sure it’s totally healed. I wore it every day, all day, not at night. Never washed it. No doubt this saved me $500-1k in PT. highly recommend!

They work!

Good quality construction and provide a lot of relief from achilles heel pain during and after runs/playing sports/hikes.

Solid Brace but ripped

I used the brace only occasionally, on hikes a few times a year and when I had flare ups and wanted to still participate in casual sports. Still it ripped in less than two years of little use. Really solved the issue when it wasn’t ripped but will look for one that is more durable in the future.

Helpful!

It’s not a substitute for rehabing an Achilles tendonopathy, but it did help me get some running mileage with significant pain reduction.
