Lucked out when I bought this nicely styled coat at 1/2 price in July. Great "black cherry" (deep purple) color and size M fits perfectly (5'1", 128 lbs.). Appreciate the length for excellent derriere coverage. There are L and R pockets, but I'd also like a breast pocket and zippers to help retain gloves! I don't expect this to take me all the way through a Kentucky winter that goes to 15 F. But I hope I'll find it water proof and a reliable mid-weight coat.

I ordered a medium, the size I wear in just about everything, and I could barely get it on. Couldn't zip it at all. Either it was mis-sized or it just runs super small.

Great for Petites

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am 5 ft tall and 101 pounds. So, I really appreciate that Colombia has sizes for Petites because I always struggle to find clothes that fit me. The jacket is very comfortable and light. The color is exactly as advertised (in this case, navy blue). In terms of warmth it is quite good down to -5C but any colder and I would have doubts. However, keep in mind that because the jacket is snug if you want to put on a vest underneath you need to go up one size. The only thing keeping this from being a perfect jacket is that the hood does not have a drawstring so sometimes it blows off in the wind.

Beautiful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just purchased this jacket a week ago for a trip next year to Alaska. I did size up from my normal size which is usually a small to an extra small so I purchased a medium. I weigh 94 pounds and 5 foot five. I have plenty of room to add layers, and it still looks nice and fitting. I was a little confused about what I thought were pockets inside this jacket. They are not pockets inside the jacket they go completely through, but if you put your hand in the zipper part on the front of the jacket, it drops into that pouch like it supposed to. I have decided to hand sew the bottom so that I can have two inside pockets. It should not alter anything on this jacket. I bought the powder blue which is gorgeous and I’m glad that I did. I cannot give you any other reviews as how warm it is because I live in Arizona too hot for right now. I will have to wait until after next year in April. The jacket I bought was on sale at a good price and I have to say that I would definitely recommend it. Just remember to size up .

Peak Lite is not warm enough for very cold weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has been puffermania to find the right mid-length puffer coat. The Peak Lite runs one size too small and has a nice waist cut but is not warm enough. I could barely feel any warmth with the Omni Heat lining. The Peak mid weight, on the other hand, is one size too large and has the shinier material. There is also mid-weight mid-length puffer jacket without a hood which seems to be sized correctly. I wish they would make a down feather lite version with accentuated waist. I may keep this one for the 50-60 degree weather. Definitely size up for the Peak Lite puffer mid jacket unless you are leaning more toward petite build.

Runs super small!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Women’s Powder Lite Mid Jacket - Plus Size is a practical choice for winter wear. Its craftsmanship and design make it suitable for various cold weather activities. The insulation offers warmth without bulk, and the mid-length provides sufficient coverage. It's important to note that it runs small, so sizing up may be necessary for a better fit. Despite this, the jacket's lightweight feel and water-resistant fabric make it versatile for everyday use. Whether running errands or enjoying outdoor adventures, this jacket offers a balance of comfort and style. It's a sensible option for those seeking reliable winter outerwear.

EXCELLENT JACKET

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me just say this first...read the reviews folks. This jacket is NOT true to size. I’m so glad I listened to previous purchasers, and I ordered a size up because this jacket runs small. I normally wear medium in EVERYTHING. I sized up and ordered a large. This is the only reason for giving this jacket 4 stars instead of 5. Seriously save yourself the hassle of a return and size up! Now with sizing up you get more room in the waist/hip area but the shoulders and sleeve length will be a tad longer. I personally like longer sleeve length anyways. I’m one to like my wrists and my hands partially covered anyways so it works! The length of the jacket hits about 4 inches above my knees so that’s perfect as well! I am a 5”3 and 145 pound 25 year old female with larger, wider bum and hips so the large was PERFECT for my dimensions. Other than the funky sizing, it is a FANTASTIC jacket. It’s is so lightweight and flexible. It moves with you really well. It has a very feminine slimming look and shows off your figure very well. The stitching at the waist is what helps give that slim waistline appearance. Even though it is a lightweight jacket, it is warm! So warm! The Omni-Heat technology is genius! I’m so excited for our brutal Michigan winters to begin just to try this bad boy out. (Will come back and update later about the functionality and usefulness of this jacket in the dead of winter) however I have high hopes for this jacket and I think it will work just fine.

Love this coat!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great coat for cold, but not frigid, temperatures. It is incredibly lightweight considering the warmth it provides. I find the elastic wrist a real plus with regard to the cold. It has a tapered cut and and so the fact that the zipper can be opened from the bottom helps when bending over. The 2 zippered pockets lie flat and are a nice size. It does run very small though. I am 5' 31/2" tall and 100 lbs. Usually I wear XS and even these can be a little big on me. I ordered S because of the reviews and wouldn't mind if it was a little looser. I can wear a sweater under it but not a bulky one. Overall I really love this coat.

Fits too tight; design issues

Although this is made of great materials, I have significant problems with this product. 1) it runs very small. I am 5'1" 120 lbs and the small coat is way too small in the chest. I am large busted and this jacket is clearly made for flat-chested women. I could not zipper up comfortably nor layer this over a sweater. 2) The pockets are not fleece-lined and are so tight they do not carry much. Even my phone works it's way out. 3) The pockets are not sewn down on the inside so you do not have inside coat pockets. I like being able to use that space for keys, a handkerchief or other storage. I would return this if the return window was still open but I waited too long.

Slim Fit

I am currently wearing a Columbia winter jacket however it severely years old and very heavy & bulky. I wanted something new that is warm but not so bulky to make drive/seatbelt wearing easier. This coat is only an option for "Tall Skinny ladies". I am 5'2 and 160 pounds, I ordered an XL, when I zipped up the coat I looked like a stuffed sausage. The sleeves were slightly long but doable, if I sized up to give me room to breath the sleeve would be way to long. Unfortunately Columbia does not have any sizing choices. The coat was returned and of course I had to pay to return with no other sizing options available.
