Sizing Notes

Rock Shoes: Scarpa recommends you downsize 1/2 to 2 full sizes from street shoe size, though downsizing depends on shoe model, intended use and personal preference.

Mountaineering: Scarpa recommends you upsize 1/2 size or more depending on desired fit. Scarpa plastic mountaineering boots are based on the UK sizing scale.

Ski Boots: All Scarpa ski bootsare measured in Mondo sizing.Highlighted (or not) sizes share the same shell size; the liners are lasted for each 1/2 size. Some skiers may want to downsize up to 1 full Mondo size, depending upon personal preference.

I think these will be keepers

Just a first impression after these were delivered today 12/22/2020. I wear a US 11.5 and ordered these in Euro size 45 and fit nicely. So I'd say just ever so slightly run small. This shoe looks heavier than it actually is. One negative (but is easy to rectify) are the laces. They seem slippery and need a double knot. However the laces are rather short and barely had enough to accomplish this. I think these will be a good all around casual hiking and all about town shoe. The tread is a lot more solid block and will likely help against the wear of the concrete jungle during casual wear. Now for the bad part. The service that REI used was OnTrac (a regional service) for the free shipping was very slow and took 8 days to go from the Phoenix area to Yuma. Only 120 miles away. Not a big deal if one isn't traveling like we are.

Great Shoe

I wear size 11 and the 44.5 fit perfectly. I have a moderately wide foot and these Scarpas fit like a glove. They are supportive, well made, and great traction on all surfaces. Among the best general purpose hiking shoes I've ever had.

I wish i could have tried them on in store

I normally wear size 42, never have to order in wide size. These felt small in general, but really tight to box for me. Did not wear past 2 min time as they were too tight. Bummer is I ordered online, REI is not the same, now I have to pay to return or drive over an hour roundtrip to drop off at store. Second time I have been burned by lame return policy now.
