Works well for commuting
This pack is very handy for my bike commute. I can keep my essentials (phone, key, gate opener) within reach without having to wear a bike jersey. There is plenty of apace in the bag and the Velcro straps make it easy to put on and remove. The fanny pack straps stow away nicely but are still quick to take out when you need them. The only complaint I have and why I docked a star is the Velcro straps aren’t designed for handlebars with bar tape. They barely fit. This would be ideal for bare metal handlebars.
Absolutely love this!
This bar bag/waistpack is spectacular. I now have several and would buy in a heartbeat. Plenty of room for a large wallet, keys, cell phone and small snacks. Material is durable and soft (canvas-like). I love the pirate black color. Lightly padded interior which holds the bag into shape, which is a light color nylon therefore doesn’t turn into a black hole of not finding things. The waistpack feature is great as the straps store away until you need to venture away from your bike and in seconds it’s a waistpack or sling bag. Just as easy to put back on. Zippers work perfect every time. Highly recommend. Brilliantly and thoughtful execution.
Great for urban commuting
This handle bar bag has changed how I go about biking around. It’s nice to not have to worry about a backpack or any bulky bag for short/social trips. I’m able to pack all the things I need in this bag (mask, keys, wallet, lights, etc) and strap it on or off the bike as needed. Easy to put on the bike. I’ve found that the waist straps don’t go back as easily but they don’t get in the way so no biggie.
Fits perfect!
Since purchasing this for my steel gravel grinder, I've used it more than any other handlebar bag I own. It holds everything you need, and nothing you don't - if I were to upgrade to tubeless, I'd have even more room. That being said, it has more room than I need for a quick spin when I put my tube and tools under the seat instead. The straps are perfect for a 31.8 handlebar and surprisingly, it doesn't flop around at all. I don't like shoving the hip straps through the back though because it does push into the bag itself causing the contents to be awkward. Because the straps are not harmful, I simply wrap it around my frame leaving room for navigation instead making it even easier to take on and off when I go in stores.
Well made and compact.
It fits an iPhone 11 in a case, wallet, keys, and a few granola bars. Perfectly sized if that’s all you need to carry. It flops around a bit but that’s the price for its KISS design.
A- bag
I have a pair of long gravel rides logged with this bag. Generally like it, and it’s well built (especially for the price) although it’s not my favorite for a few reasons: -it swings a bit. Not a performance issue, but annoying 6 hours into a ride. -it’s hard to access the top mount if you use a Garmin stem mount (or similar) -I really wish it had a pair of elastic straps on the front for a vest/shell (something light but too bulky to fit in) -it’s a bit wider, so potentially rubs on hands if on the flats Overall, I prefer a top tube bag and will run this as a second bag for items I don’t plan I’ll need access to. For the price, it’s fantastic, but so close to being perfect.
Simple bag that gets the job done
This bag is excellently constructed and obviously made to go the distance. All the seams and zippers are high-quality and I feel like that this will last me a long time. I like how easy it is to toss onto the front of the bike and leave it if I want or if I am going to be going away from my bike for a while I can pull it off the handlebars and I can throw it across my shoulder and keep all of my stuff on me as I go about my day. The bag isn’t too techy looking which I really appreciate. I wouldn’t mind if the bag was a little bit larger, but this size helps keep the weight down and makes me concentrate on just bring my essentials with me.
Bad A@@ Bag
Wanted a bag to get some of the junk I carry out of my jersey pockets and this is exactly what I needed. iPhone, keys, mini pump, multi tool, tire levers and a bag of weed all fit perfectly. Fits perfect on my Giant Defy.
Well made, versatile.
At a glance this looks like a standard handlebar bag, but it has a neat trick hidden inside. It can easily be converted to a "fanny pack" for taking valuables or other small items with you when you get to where you are going. I'm not really a fanny pack person, but in this situation, having the option is a nice feature. The straps that go around your body are a little narrow, about 1", and there is no padding, but for a quick stop it is totally functional. Rides fine on the handlebars with two Velcro loops. Made from a nice, durable woven nylon that seems like it would be water resistant. In a downpour, I think you might be out of luck, though. Several pockets allows for organizing your odds and ends. Overall, this is definitely a great multi-use item.
super functional bag
This is a sweet little number! It holds keys, phone, wallet, and snacks/something extra beyond that, + a little flat pocket for chapstick, cards, cash, whatever. Perfect for errands and when I don’t need to carry anything beyond a water bottle, and I’ll pair it with bags or a basket when running larger errands or on a trip. It is definitely not water proof, but it seems to be high quality and is generally super convenient. The handlebar straps are plenty big, but the bag does wobble around a bit on the bike due to the way the Velcro is done on the straps. If REI put velcro on the bag itself, the straps could wrap around the handlebars and attach back to the bag, which would minimize the bag’s movement.
