Really Impressed

Honestly, really impressed. We have rented paddleboards and kayaks in the past, and knew we wanted to own of the two for this summer. I feel so lucky to have found this combo with a sup-yak, and I love the versatility of them being inflatable. Overall the quality is what's impressed me the most. These are so well made and are really thoughtfully designed. I love the daisy-chain feature, especially with the addition of a few d-rings and bungees if our own. The hand-pump is nice too, psi gauge right on top with a yellow-red-green inflation guide. Sure hand-pumping is hard, but it offers a good pre-paddle workout for the upper body. Every snap, buckle, lobster closure, seam and other material is high quality and we feel confident th le boards will last many years. As a paddle board, they are pretty steady and maneuver well. The surface offers excellent soft grip for standing, kneeling, laying, yoga and anything in between. I love that the textured surface covers the entire length of the board, it's a really nice feature. The paddle is great, comfy grip and adjustable. As a kayak, it's smooth. We took ours out on a choppy lake with a strong head-wind and had no trouble staying the course. Best part is, you have a wide open platform so you can spread out, use the foot rest, let your feet skim the surface off the edge, and float and have a kayak-picnic. The seat adjusts to be upright or more reclined. When you dock just pick up and walk the board ashore. Easy-peasy. Deflating was easier than inflating, especially given we had the psi on our sides. We rolled them up, bagged everything and walked out with the whole setup on our backs (including two towels, a medium size dry-bag, two water bottles, etc). Overall, I'm really happy with this purchase. We've done a lot of research and you really can't beat the price. We waited a while to buy, and ultimately we wish we had bought sooner. As the box reads, they're "endless fun".

Perfect for the Lake!

The goods: The board has awesome grip and is pretty sturdy making it super easy to balance. The kayak pieces are super easy to assemble and feel pretty high quality. All pieces fit easily into the backpack for easy transport. Backpack has pockets outside for waterbottles/towels which is awesome. Not so's: It's a little complicated to get it to inflate using the hand pump, make sure to pay close attention to the instructions and give yourself plenty of time to inflate before getting in the water! Be aware of the fins when maneuvering in and out of the water, I'm nervous about scraping them up on the dock/ground. Overall it's a great product and I'm super happy with my purchase!

Love this!

I bought this last year and used it all spring and summer. Love this! Easy to throw in the car and 10-15 min set up for kayaking. I love how I can put the seat and the foot pad on but still stand up and paddle, if I want. I usually go kayaking for hours on this and have had no issues. One negative is the paddle it comes with is very heavy and tends get you soaked, but on a hot summer day, it's refreshing. You may want to get a better quality paddle. I've had many interested paddlers ask me about this out on my adventures, so I would highly recommend.

Needs a better paddle

The paddle board works fine. the looped webbing around the edge is very nice for securing misc item. Only 3 stars because the paddles are rather small for the kayak set up and they don't have the feel of a normal kayak paddle. The paddle I'm comparing it to is like what you get when you rent a kayak, not a high dollar paddle. The Paddle is also quite heavy compared to a kayak paddle. The most annoying part is the way the handle locks into place. It has a clip that slides in and out and it has to be lined up perfectly with the 2 holes. Also, this clip pops open on is own and will pop off the paddle all together. We lost one of the clips first time using it and now I am stuck trying to find a replacement. So major design flaw there. I expected a much better paddle since this SUP is $200-300 more than most.

First inflatable, excellent choice.

First inflatable, excellent choice. I love the versatility the daisy chain has with the placement of the seat and foot rest. I can leave the seat connected and use it as a SUP and switch back and forth as I feel. The only downfall is the board is so lite, that the front doesn't track well as a kayak. The fins more than made up for it, but honestly I think I could just put a cooler up front and it would be perfect.

Love the board, but the paddle quickly broke

The board is everything I was looking for - durable, easy to transport, and able to use for yoga and have my labrador join me for paddling. Love it! However, the paddle broke on the second use - the clasp that goes around the "pipe" to attach the paddle came completely off without warning and the paddle part was lost forever into the dark abyss of the water.

Still standing three summers later.

This is my third summer with this same paddle board and it is still in PERFECT condition. Have never had to use any of the patches it came with. Turning into a kayak is quite easy however I only do that on windy days. Love to layout and read on this as well. Very easy to use. I wish the fins popped off for easier folding and storage. Had a hard time as a tiny girl using the hand pump. Bought a cheap motor pump off amazon for $30 that fills it up in about 15 min. I take it out pretty regularly and love it!

Great seat

We really enjoy the option to sit which is nice on longer trips. On a 4 hour river float the tahe paddle board was far more comfortable than the tahe 2 person kayak due to the comfy seat. We could comfortably fit a 9 year at the front of the board while paddling.
