Frayed Compressions
I think the shorts are amazing and comfortable but after one run the compression shorts underneath were frayed in multiple places. Definitely, a bummer since these shorts are on the pricier side.
When we got the shorts
When we got the shorts the compression legs were already worn and frayed on both pairs we received .we really wanted to buy multiple pairs but due to the low quality of the fabric we will shop other brands.I have Nike shorts that are literally years old that still don’t have the fraying or knit wear that the chubbies had when they arrived.:sob:
One of these is not like the others
I own a dozen chubbies athletic shorts and these definitely seem like a lesser quality product. After a couple work outs and washes the lining is falling apart and looks like garbage. I’ve never had this happen with any of my other shorts. Still love chubbies but this was weird.
Wish I could love them
There is so much to like about these shorts. They’re comfortable, fit great, and the phone pocket is awesome. Unfortunately, the compression lining started to pill after only two weeks. This is unacceptable at this price.
Not impressed
Like the feeling but the second time I wore them the undershorts look like I’ve owned them for 10 years the material balls up and frays definitely not worth the price I paid
Super comfortable and feel great
Super comfortable and feel great but liner already frayed after one use. Pretty disappointed in the quality of these since they feel and look so good.
Cell phone pocket not for running
I bought these primarily for the cell phone pocket. They're awesome shorts in pretty much every way except the cell phone pocket. It's too low on the leg which means the phone is swinging a lot with each stride. The compression short material is not very stiff, which I actually like, but that more flexible material combined w the position of the cell phone pocket means my phone just flops around uncomfortably with every stride. My phone is normal size (iphone 11 with a streamlined case). I bought these for running. The pocket would be great for anything other than running, but then if I'm not running I can just use a regular front pocket.

Got these for my partner for Christmas, and i'm pretty sure he forgot he owns any other clothes. Comfy, good pocket choices, bright, over the top colors, and attached compression shorts. What more could you want? Fairly true to size. I read the sizing chart and ordered based on his jean size, but really should have just gotten him the normal gym size shorts he wears. My b. Unrelated to these shorts, but since i ordered the wrong sizes, i had to exchange these. Not only was the exchange process SUPER easy, even during the holidays, they processed it SO quick and i still received the items with plenty of time for stress free wrapping. Many many clap emojis.
