Very good patches at a great price

Like others said here, if anyone failed on these because they're "not sticking", it is 100% due to not following directions. Let the THIN coat of rubber cement DRY COMPLETELY before transfer of patch, and you will have an excellent seal and extended life of your tube. Paired with Pedro's levers, I was able to patch two punctures (goat heads) and have not lost a single pound of pressure.

Poor adhesion, disappointed this was REI branded

Rubber cement and repair patch failed to adhere to the tire. Even after letting it dry for an hour, you can easily peel off the patch. Surprised REI let this through as their own branded product. Don't waste your time and go with another brand.

Works as Designed

This works the same as the Park equivalent. People saying the patch didn’t stick are not following the instructions. Use a small amount of glue and wait for it to get tacky, smack the patch on, and it will hold for the life of the tube. It takes no longer than the sticker variety, but are much more durable.

Fantastic patch kit

These are my favorite locally available patch kits. I like how they include 6 standard patches and no oversized ones that you'll never use. Their only shortcoming is the sandpaper. It's better than the horrible metal scuffer that you sometimes see, but not quite as good as the geat rubber-backed sandpaper that you get in the Rema kits.

These are amazing. They stop the air from leaking out of my tube. But carry aspare tube or two anyway. And always wear your helmet. I can tell you why....

Awful Patch Kit

First of all, this is not a "patch on the go" kit, which is fine. The issue is the patches do not stick, even after two or three days of letting the glue cure. Spend the extra buck for Park Tool's glueless patches. Or better yet, Slime's glueless patches.

Terrible patch kit

I bought this patch kit at an REI store to try out, thinking REI sells quality products. The very first time I needed to patch a tube on the road the patch failed to stick. I tried another one with more glue, and that failed, too. It ruined the rest of my ride and had to take the bus home. I'm very disappointed in this product and in REI putting its label on it. I'll never buy this again.
