I've been using the biggest size of this bag since 2012 (not sure if it's this or if there was a 3x). It's huge and still going strong. really durable zippers, even when heavily loaded out. These things are worth the price tag, if mine ever falls apart I'll definitely buy again. Cannot possibly recommend enough. You can definitely load it down to be way too heavy, but if you need a big durable bag to potentially be tossing in the back of a truck, strapping onto a car, or to carry bulky but lightweight stuff (like winter gear, snowshoes, etc), just get this one, it's worth it. This thing is a workhorse.
I have several versions of these bags. Each time they get cheaper and has less quality. Typical North Face slide into lower quality products over the past 30 years.
Great bag. Comfortable to carry, durable material. Only downside is that it encourages overpacking.
Not as big as i hoped. Only marginally bigger than the XL bag.
