Chubbies  Stretch 5.5" Lined Swim Trunks - Men's

Hands down the most comfortable and trendy shorts in the game. I now own 6 pairs and plan to own them all!

My fiancé lifts a lot and as a result has a thicker build with even thicker thighs and has SO MANY issues trying to find pants, shorts and board shorts that fit him comfortably. We had both found Chubbies and had thought of having him trying them for about a year. We finally pulled the trigger (aka me) and got him two pairs to try on our trip to Hawai’i and he LOVES them. He doesn’t feel like his legs are being straggled and can move around comfortably with them. He says the lining in these shorts feels like compression and keeps everything secure. Haha. Overall he loves the shorts and we will not be getting board shorts from anywhere else. Thank you Chubbies for making thick thigh friendly board shorts! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got the same shorts in toddler and adult for son and dad to match. They are by far the cutest look. While at the same time the material and fabric of it is high quality. But what really stood out in the adult ones was the extra lining that helped eliminate rashes and any pains. Wish they made a matching pattern for woman’s bikinis!

My son is about to be 14 years old and he begged me to buy these swim trunks for him. He ordered the the flamingo ones, and they’re adorable…I picked him up from a summer camp today and he was so thrilled they had arrived when he came home, he immediately changed into them to wear for when we went out to lunch! Thank you for letting me know the delivery was going to be running a tad bit late as well! The timing was actually perfect as he was away all week! He just loves them, (and as a mom who can’t pick out her sons clothes anymore because he’s a teenager, I’m a happy camper too! We’ll be ordering from y’all often I’m sure!) Thanks again! Alex

I love these trunks, however, they yellowed around the legs and pockets after a few uses. Machine washing did not help.

These are my new favorites. Love the compression lining, just the right length. They look even better in-person.

I've been a cheap Walmart/Target swimwear user my whole life, never seeing the point in investing that much in water shorts. I really like stretch liners for gym shorts, so gave it a go with the swimwear too. Complete convert now. These keep everything well in place when you're doing active watersports (tubing, swimming, etc) and are infinitely more comfortable than mesh liners. And with normal pockets and a little more weight to them than cheap swim trunks, they also make good walking around shorts. I've hiked in them to get to waterholes, biked 10+ miles in them, even have worn a button-up top with them. Think of them as 2 or 3 shorts in one and the price looks much more agreeable. The liner adds some heft and they take a little longer to dry, but for me the tradeoff in comfort and versatility is worth it. And while 5.5" sounds pretty short, but it's a good middle ground between track shorts and board shorts.

I LOVE these shorts. BUT.. I’m a size between XL & XXL. For some reason there’s a size gap between the two. Xl = 36-38 and Xxl = 40-42??? Where is the 38-40 size? This is the only size that has a gap. And it sucks! I ordered an extra large, and it’s too tight, I ordered a double XL and it’s way too loose. If they fixed the size gap and made a 38-40… I’d buy tons of them! Both shorts are 5.5” inseam, but are massively different

kind of expensive trunks, turned out to be worth it. i’m 5’10 215lbs, got large. 4” fit very well, comfortable, and they stay up during a swim session. back zip pocket it’s useful, nice sized side pockets i didn’t even know i had until the end of the day. very sturdy construction. would definitely buy more, if my wife would let me.

I’m 6’0 185lbs. Love the trunks as well as their liner. I thought they fit great for size. They were a crowd pleaser.
