I was skeptical, but quality is nice for the price
TLDR: I'm 5' 6", 145 lbs, with narrow waist, wide chest, and fairly muscular build (38.5" chest and 30" waist for reference). Small was skin-tight but perfect length; medium was still decently close-fitting, but a bit long for my height (e.g. bunching of material around the waist in riding position). Details: Sleeves (small and medium): If you have some muscle, you will appreciate that the sleeves are not super-tight (they fit well on me). They are fairly short in length, unlike the "aero" sleeves on most jerseys these days. I approve. It's a more classic jersey look. If you have skinny, t-rex arms, they might be too loose for you. Overall: I ended up buying the size small and basically turning this "semi-fitted" jersey into one that works as a race fit/form-fit jersey on me. The problem with most jerseys I've tried is that I would need to buy a medium or large (due to chest size) and then have extra length and bunching of material around the waist when in the riding position. It's a compromise. Somehow the material Rapha uses is a lot more flattering of imperfections (even when stretched a bit) than many other jerseys I tried, particularly in the under $100 price bracket. Not sure how they do it. MISC: I was resistant to buying a Rapha jersey because I tend to avoid brands that are perceived as overly stylish/fashionable. That said, this was by far the best-feeling and fitting jersey among the many I've tried in recent times at reasonable prices. I think Rapha are providing a lot of quality for the money in this model. Especially with a 20% off coupon from REI. The Navy color is simple and understated. I wish they had other understated color choices. Notes on the brand: They seem to offer repair services for their clothes and even offer 50% off if you lose weight and need to buy a smaller size. So, despite their painfully stylish perception, I think I might (reluctantly) be a Rapha wearer now.

Castelli fan tried Rapha for the first time
All my jerseys are Castelli Large (for 39~40in chest). Decided to try Rapha Core jersey Medium (for 39in chest) but it is too tight. Tried Large but too loose around the arms. The worst of all is the zipper. Very hard to engage and not smooth at all (Both Medium and Large jerseys). Disappointed. Returning it...

Quality Jersey from Rapha

Fits great and is high quality and the fabric is lightweight and breathable. My only issue is that the zipper can be hard to start, but other than that is is a great purchase imo.

Great fit, comfy

Perfect warmer weather Jersey, and fits very similar to most other athletic fits. If you’re normally a club fit person, size up. Race fit wearers should size same or a size lower.

Zipper inoperable

Love the Rapha Core Lightweight jerseys and I have 3 of them. Was excited about the price on this discontinued one, but, like other reviewers, the zipper on the jersey I received was inoperable. Nothing like the other Rapha Core Lightweight jerseys I own.

Fit is small

Lightweight, warm weather jersey. Beware size runs small. I'm 5'10", 165lbs. I wear medium shirts. This medium fits like a small. Maybe if I was 150lb it wouldn't be too tight. I returned for size Large which fit much better.

Runs small, had to order medium and return small

So far, I like the jersey, but I ordered a small. I am 5'-9", 150lbs with a 30in waist and 38in chest. The small had to stretch to zip around my waste and was skin tight. The zipper was difficult to start, possibly unrelated to the size. Hopefully the medium will fit better. Also, the three pockets seem a little small, but I am hoping the medium will have slightly larger pockets. The material is very lightweight and I expect it will be a great jersey in the heat.

Great performance

Jersey performs as desired. Fit is a little tight, but once you understand its European sizes, its not so bad. Zipper is a little hard to engage, but the zip is smooth. Went with an XL, and it fit. It was tighter than expected, but was still comfortable at the end of a 40mi ride. Back slightly bunches.

You get what you pay for

I was hesitant that this would just be an expensive jersey, but alas the material is very soft. The zipper hasn't stuck on me at all which is a common problem for cheaper jerseys that I have. I really like this shirt and will likely buy more Rapha products after this. It looks great too.

Rapha quality is consistently good

The jersey is consist with Rapha quality, I'd prefer for the sleeve to be a little snugger, but I love the jersey
