falling apart after a month
I assumed the trail running design and Salomon name indicated a durability and I was wrong. One month into my ten year old wearing these and there are two large holes and the sole is debonding from the front of the shoe. $55 wasn't too steep so will leave this at 3 stars.
Comfortable and Light
My daughter is very picky about how shoes feel. She loves the grip these shoes provide without the bulk ones or weight of other hiking shoes. They feel like other light tennis shoes and do not have all the thick padding that bothers the top of her foot. Thank you Salomon!

I bought these for my 12 year old son and he is so happy with them. They are rugged and seem like they are made to last.
Terrible shoe
I bought this shoe for my son and he is 10 it lasted 2.5 months I hate it. The shoe ripped on the side.
