Good not great

I loved the design of the sling, and I'm very happy with it in general, however, there are two details that I think, need to be fixed:1. When you carry it in the back, it tends a lot to go to your lower back, and even the strap goes all the way to the back, I must be pulling it from time to time, which is a bit weird.2. Being a 5lt sling, why it doesn't has more organization pockets? There are only two in the back and even those are very loose. I noticed the 9lt kadet has a separate accessory, but first of all, there is not an accessory for this one, and even in the 9lt option, why one must pay separate for organization? They should be already on it!And I will add a suggestion: make brighter the interior, it would look way better, and would be better to find things inside

Great minimalist day pack for on & off the bike

When I don't bring along my messenger bag, I bring this. It's simple & fantastic- it's got a u-lock holster, it's water resistant, two zippered compartments (main one has a simple divider + a smaller pocket for pencils & the like), and roomy enough for a book, bandana, sunglasses, stickers, power pack, chargers, a hat, and maybe a little more. Outside the bag, there are a few attachment points for carabiner-clipped accessories. I have even used the bottom fasteners to roll up my jacket and hold it there -- it'll stay there even during rough bike rides! Oh and it's got a bottle opener on the strap. Speaking of the strap, it's basically the same material as a vehicle's seatbelt and it's REALLY nice. Luxurious, even. It stays in place and loosens really quick when needed.

Good size for daily carry

Pros: size is large enough for a 20oz water bottle with a Fujifilm X-T3 w/ 18-55mm lens, and a wallet. The build quality is high enough that the bag doesn’t sag when full, and straps feel sturdy/confident. Cons: it’s pretty much impossible to keep the bag from sliding around without the stabilization strap - it should be included in the purchase, not a separate accessory. It also makes less sense for the key ring to be above the general pocket and not the sleeve, instead of being able to tuck my keys into that sleeve it’s instead clunking around in the main pocket. I’ve since moved them to the outside zippered compartment.

Chrome bags deliver

I bought a Chrome message bag over 15 years ago and it changed my life. Recently, I wanted something smaller and grabbed a Mini Kadet and have no regrets. These products deliver on all levels, every time.

So in love with this bag

I debated on which brand and type of bag to replace my worn out backpack. Bought this and am in love. Bought the rainbow chrome buckle and I get compliments all the time!

Heritage Suede Mini Kadet

High quality bag, the perfect size for what I need. And most importantly a padded strap. I intend to carry it everywhere with me!

No easy way to hang this up

I love the quality and capacity of this bag. I know it's going to last me for the next decade and longer. It's great when it's on. It's a nightmare to take off. I feel like I'm fighting with it or my hair is getting ripped out by the buckle. I haven't figured out a good way to hang it up while still accessing the contents inside. I've been using one of the water bottle loops so it's vertical, but this is a hotdog bag and should remain horizontal, or else everything comes spilling out. I think a simple small loop on the side would be low profile and unobtrusive.

Almost Perfect - Needs Stabilizer Strap

This is a great bag. Larger than the standard hip pack, but smaller than the standard Kadet Sling. Construction is solid and it feels great.I don't mind the fact that it's missing the big buckle (I usually slide slings over my head anyways). But I do mind it missing the stabilizer strap. Once you have weight in it, it tends to slide around. Especially when riding on a bike. The stabilizer strap should come standard, not as an add on accessory. It's crucial to holding the sling securely in place. But otherwise, a solid purchase.
