I have never felt so pretty in a swimsuit!
I’m mid-30’s, pear-shaped with a small bust, about 8 months postpartum (second baby), and self-conscious of my thighs/hips, so I always wear swim shorts with a one-piece swimsuit. I’m 5’3, 175 pounds, size medium on top and XL/12-14 on bottom. I bought an XL since the top on this is wrap-style. I’ve never loved myself in a swimsuit— ever— until this one. The blue is incredibly vibrant and it’s not frumpy AT ALL, which was my concern. It just looks super stylish and cute and romper-ish, but still like a swimsuit. This thing was MADE to flatter pear shapes and I love the coverage. It’s also flattering on the tummy area. I’m so happy I found this! I took a photo in the hotel mirror and either the mirror is super-slimming or this is just an amazing swimsuit! (The discoloration in the photo is where I was holding a wet infant after our pool trip!)
Perfect fit & very cute!
This swim romper is perfection. It’s very comfortable, fitted in all the right places, and the color is classy. I am 5’2, weigh 120, 34C bust and bought a size small. I love it.
Mostly a very nice swimsuit. Mostly.
The fabric is excellent quality and the color and style are even better in person. I think the colour is closer to teal than navy blue. It is definitely a swimsuit vs a sit on a deckchair suit. However. The shoulder straps are a disaster. They twist and turn like twisty turny thingees. I've tried straightening them out but the strap is all one long piece and the task exceeds my patience. It's really a surprising and disappointing flaw in an otherwise very nice swimsuit.
Perfect for ocean swimming
Because it stays on. Suit has sewn in panties under shorts. I am 155lbs 5’8”. I have a pretty good figure and love to swim without everything hanging out. I still like to have style and this is from the sand to the water greatness. Dries quickly and looks fantastic. Bot a large. Gets a little loose in water. Not sure if a medium would have been better. Happy either way.
Absolutely fantastic suit!
This suit is not only CUTE, but you can actually do stuff in it. I have more hips than the model, so the bottoms aren't as loose on me, but I still love it. I wear a 6/8 top and 8 bottom and got a Medium.
great sporty swimsuit
I’m so happy I bought this. It’s flattering and comfortable. Doesn’t look “old lady” , yet it’s modest. I love modest swimwear but unfortunately most aren’t very attractive. This one finally nailed it! I bought two :-) great for kayaking or just swimming in the pool. I just wish there were more colors. I’m 5’5, 175, and the XL fits well, but once I lose about 10 lbs I’ll definitely be needing the L.
Mostly perfect
Overall, I really like this suit out of the box (haven't swum in it yet). It is exactly as pictured, though as someone else said, probably a little more teal than navy. I love the fit of the bottom half- hits an inch or two below the butt cheek, and fits without being skin tight. The top half is a little more awkward, and is the reason for the mostly perfect combo. Again, as others have said, it's got a weirdly narrow cut, so widely spaced boobs might have trouble staying contained. The straps are very narrow and they would be more comfortable and stay put better if they were wider. The wrap-tie is really nice. It's not necessary for much structural integrity or support, but if you tie it a little tighter, it doesn't make the bra area feel a little more secure at the sides. The bra padding is just right. The sizing seemed accurate to me. I'm between size 6 and 8 in pants and i bought the Medium and it fit perfectly on the bottom. This may be partially why the upper felt a little loose, because my upper half is usually a small. Other than these design aspects which seem to be universal critiques (hopefully Nani will revamp this one to address?), I hope the brand expands its sizing in line with its mission to make all women feel beautiful and comfortable in the water.
Looked cute online....
This item looks cute online. I ordered the size Large which is what I usually wear. It runs very small. I couldn't get it all of the way on. I almost thought it was a juniors size or for a teen/preteen. It's unfortunate because I have to pay $6.00 to send it back.
Cute needs design overhaul
Wanted to love this so much, cute color and cut of the shorts is great. Unfortunately the top is weirdly narrow and doesn't contain chest, and the double layer on the bottoms is not practical for drying out while wearing. Unfortunately have to return.
My favorite swimsuit, finally!
I got this swimsuit on a whim because of the great sale price on REI. I'm SO happy I got it! I'm 150lbs, 5ft 3in tall, short torso and size 10 in jeans, M in tops and size A cup in bras. So my measurements are all over the place plus I don't have much of a butt. Most traditional swimsuits don't fit me well because they're always too big in the bust or too loose in the butt causing bunching. This swimsuit by Nani solves all those problems. I got the size M which was a perfect fit in all areas of the suit! It's perfect for the smaller busted gal (no bra gap!) and the shorts cover up my butt making it look smooth. I love the wrap tie as it distracts attention away from my belly. Overall it's a really unique suit and the color is great. It's like an ocean blue color or a very subdued teal color. I highly recommend this because finally there is something out there for both curvy and non-curvy (aka me) ladies out there.
