Better than expected!

I had this chair on my wishlist and ended up finding it at the garage sale in my local REI! I felt like I had hit gold. After one camping trip and several uses outdoors (parks and beach) it has proven to be an incredible chair. It is low to the ground but I prefer that as my dog likes to lay next to me and it’s easier to give her pets :) The chair is much sturdier than I expected. I am by no means a tiny person (5’10, 250 lbs) and I fit great into it and it does not feel like it is going to crumble or anything at all under my plus size booty lol Super easy to set up and breakdown. The comment on the tag for it being returned was “too wobbly” but honestly it’s very easy to make it sturdy if you use it correctly. It is adjustable depending on your preference and very easy to adjust too. The tye dye color is extra fun too! Overall, it is a pricey chair but worth the investment. It is incredibly well made and clearly high quality. I leave it in my car and it goes everywhere. I’ve even used it outside on the lawn at work when I needed some sun and air. If you are on the fence about this chair, get it!!

Great little chair

I bought this lightweight chair for a music festival coming up this summer. I honestly didn’t have high hopes for it but it was a fantastic price so I took a chance. I absolutely love this chair! It was super comfortable and surprisingly easy to get in and out of. I have a similar style from REI that I literally have to crawl on the ground to get up from. I’m 5’8” and seem to fit fine with good back support and a little rocking in this chair. It folds up small, lightweight and seems sturdy. Took some tugging to get the last corner on but not a deal breaker. My only regret is not getting two at the sale price as they seem to be gone now. Mine is black/blue.

Love this for festivals and camping!

My wife and I got two of these for Austin City Limits festival initially and loved them. They are compact, when carrying, you barely know they're there. They're super light and easy to put together and take apart. They are also super comfy and aren't bulky so festival-worthy. We have also used them to go to the river, on hikes, camping, etc. We keep them in the car just in case and they're small enough that they just stay there all the time! Love them!!

Disappointed with Helinox chair

I really wanted to love this chair. It sounded perfect for outdoor concerts and events. However, it was very small and uncomfortable. Just for reference my daughter and I are thin and athletic. If we couldn't fit comfortably, then I don't see how others will. Maybe a child or someone very petite. The sides also hit at an awkward level so you can only keep your arms right by your sides-not comfortable either. Anyway Helinox please make a chair like this that is wider with lower sides!
