I’ve been out on three hikes with these, about 13 miles through the New Hampshire Mountains. They were nice and comfy from the start, didn’t need to break them in. Haven’t had any real issues. Really enjoying the boot so far. One minor thing, there is a weird sound in the toe when I walk, kind of sounds like I’m wearing flip flops. I bought my normal size so maybe they run a bit large. I’m not sure what’s causing it. It’s not really loud just slightly annoying. Otherwise, I’m quite happy.
Great comfort for a medium width foot such as mine. Good stability. Great tread design and excellent waterproofing. Only concern for me personally was the minimum drop / heel to toe , but I have gotten used to it . My use is primarily daily hiking light jogging
Excellent design and assembly. I haven't tested the waterproofing but the shoe is comfortable will likely last very well.
Super light, waterproof and solid grip on trails filled with water, mud and can’t wait to try light snow.
These boots were comfortable right out of the box but I still decided to wear them inside the house for a few days to get a feel for them. All was well until the fourth day when, suddenly, the right boot started to make a noise, like I was wearing flip-flops, with every step. 1) The thought of having this noise as a constant presence, with every step, in a otherwise silent forest, or even just walking down the street, with brand new boots, is a deal breaker. 2) Why did this happen? In old boots this usually means the sole is about to separate. I will be returning them. This is the second time I've run into a sudden construction problem with what seemed at first to be wonderful boots from Asolo. A pair of winter boots I purchased a few years ago had the right foot bed suddenly develop a very uncomfortable ridge down the center right after the return period had run out. These boots had, maybe, 100 miles on them. I find both of these issues very disappointing in high priced boots from a supposedly quality maker.
