I just received these and am pleasantly surprised! Th fit is excellent. I normally wear a small in other brands and the small fit perfectly. The high waist is very nice and the chamois is excellent. It isn’t really thick but good for 20-30 mile rides with no problem. It has form so sits nicely against your bottom without that saggy diaper look that feels and looks horrible. Pockets are very nice and can fit a smart phone or handkerchief for cooler weather. They were expensive but if they last, will be well worth it. My first Terry brand purchase. I typically wear Gore or Castelli and find these comparable in quality.
I purchased these pants for a 265 mile bicycle trip across the state. In previous years I’ve worn the REI cycling shorts, but while on those trips my thighs were having reactions from sun exposure, so I bought these hoping for more coverage. I was worried that they would be too hot, too thick and tight, and too much coverage, but turns out I loved them way more than the shorts!! The material was so soft and breathable, and the length just below my knees. They went over my stomach the perfect amount to keep it tucked in while riding. There were also deep pockets on each leg that kept my phone and sunglasses tucked in. 10/10 recommend. I am 5’8”, 170lbs and purchased a size large
I've been a serious cyclist for over 45 years. I have stayed away from Terry shorts as I used other brands. But it seems that other brands have started used inferior materials, so I decided to try these. They fit perfectly. Having said that, I don't particularly like the padding. For years and years, companies didn't just put in a uniform pad. Instead they had parts of the padding cut out so that soft anatomical body parts felt more comfortable. Now, it's just one pad.... not comfortable on long rides. I will have to do some cutting of padding to make it more comfortable. But at least the fit is great.
Purchased these tights on a whim while in the store, as my older cycling knickers are wearing out. I recently wore them on a bike weekender in the Puget Sound area, and was very satisfied with the fit and comfort. I like cycling clothes that don't feel too tight.I purchased another pair!
I have a pair of Terry biking shorts and they are so comfortable. Then I purchased the 3/4 biking pant. I will never go back to the shorts as I love the fit with the higher waist in the back, no rolling down. The fabric is light Wt and I have worn them in Fl when it was 88 degrees. Also wore in MN when it was in the 60’s. The pockets are so nicely place for my cell phone. The padding is fine for me as I ride frequently but only 12 miles per trip, after biking I can run into a store with comfort. They are pricy but worth it if you can splurge.
Sadly my indoor cycling pants from 2011 finally got a tear... so I was in need of a new pair. I found these Terry Women's Holster Hi-Rise Capri Cycling Tights & was quite apprehensive to spend so much on leggings, but got them in the mail & holy moley they're amazing! I have a taller torso so find they hit just right on my mid-section (not clear up to my chest as other reviews state) and the legs/thighs/hips are NOT tight and fit my booty/thighs/calves COMFORTABLY. (I bought/returned like 3-4 other brands out there before finding these). Normally I'm an XL in leggings, but went up to XXL on these as I don't like things super tight when I'm cycling. They fit comfortably (not loose), I can still breathe, but it holds my squishy bits in well (without feeling super jiggly)- plus they don't constrict my calves like other leggings/tights out there.
This was my first ever pair of padded cycling bottoms, and I have to say that the comfort of these capris have not been met by anything else I have tried on. I was a plus size, but was able to purchase a XXL. The chamois is perfect for a 5 mile ride or a 30 mile ride. It fits well and sits in the right places. The high rise is great if you have a bit of a pooch you want to hide away. The best part is THESE ACTUALLY DON’T ROLL DOWN!! :) The material I have worn in almost 90°F and as low as 50°F. It’s breathable and doesn’t chafe. The material seems to move with my body and doesn’t prevent any motion. And they look cool enough, too. The pockets are roomy and plenty big enough for larger cell phones. They keep items inside very well. I liked these so much that I bought a second pair to rotate them between rides. They wash well in the machine and I hang them to dry. I’m sad because I’ve lost over 20lbs since last year and I will have to purchase more soon because they’re too loose on me now. A great investment for comfort, performance, and style.
I sized down to S on these for better fit and compression (I'm size 6, sometimes 8). The rise is high but fine for me (I am 5'11"). I don't have trouble with bunching behind the knees, and I like that the padding is not too bulky. I enjoy wearing these for hour-long rides on my exercise bike and soon, I hope, on my real bike.
Like them but not for short women. About 3 inches too long. I am 5’3”.
I’m 150 lbs and 5’ 7” with a longer torso than average and these almost came up to the base of my boobs. Also I wear a medium pants in everything and I couldn’t get them past my thighs. The large fit but holy cats these pants are HIGH RISE. Returned…
