great product that I have purchased multiple times
Got that chain for my bike and have put already ~500miles. It is very durable, with smooth transitions and excellent shift quality to the Shimano XT . Chain is quiet and comparable with the higher performance chains brings all the bells and whistles with reasonable price me very good durability. I am 6’2” 200 pounds and ride very heavy gears . Put this on my kids bike and works perfectly under load with power shifting . Strongly recommend . REI did great deal on the delivery , surprised me with the same day. For the other reviewer will recommend next time to go to a bike shop. This is a great product . It came with the connecting link as well.
Came with a Quick Link
Very solid quality - lasts pretty long and doesn't rust (unlike the 105 chain). Mine came with a Quick Link which doesn't seem to be the case for everybody, so check when you receive / pick up.
Perfect Replacement for 11-speed Shimano
I needed a replacement ASAP after my chain broke just two weeks before a race. REI got it to me fast and it was a perfect fit on my 105 drivetrain. Quick-link was included.
Remove and replace old chain with new one

Good Chain
Works as expected. I would suggest buying the tool for the quick link. It makes connecting it much easier. I also suggest removing the factory grease and using some MucOff lube instead. I did not believe this would make an improvement until I tried. Much quieter.
REI sent the wrong chain
REI sent me the wrong chain, and not only is it incompatible because it's a 12 speed and not an 11 speed, they sent me a deore chain which is a lower end chain and costs half as much as the one I paid for

Smooth operating chain
I recently took my Cannondale Topstone 1 into REI for a loose headset and the technician showed me that the chain needed replacement while there. The new Shimano chain restored my bike to a smooth shifting and pedaling machine once again.

Didn't come with an attachment method
Received chain expecting either a quick link or connector pin. Item had neither and I had no way to install the chain without going to get additional items.
