This is an excellent basket! It is sturdy and fastens onto the frame of my Electra townie very securely using the MIK system (will need the MIK bike rack carrier plate to properly attach to the frame). It is large and could easily hold 2-3 full bags of groceries (weight limit is 20lbs). The bottom of the basket is wire, so if it rains it will not collect water. Great design.
Easy to use, secure — and cute!
I’m impressed! My Electra Townie Go bike has a MIK-compatible rear rack, and attaching this basket to it couldn’t be easier. It just snaps on. When you want to remove it, you just slide in the MIK key (provided with the basket), and it pops right off, ready for shopping. Nobody’s going to steal this puppy. Appears to be good quality, too. And it’s cute to boot.
Lovely basket
Lovely basket. Easy to attach but only if you have a MIK rack on your bike. Lightweight but sturdy. Weatherproof but looks like real wicker.
