Rugged Birkenstocks
The sandals are great once you workout the sizing issue because I had to go down two sizes for a fit. They also tend to be on the wider side as well.

Not very durable
I thought with the added traction these Birks would be capable but sadly the cork footed just does not hold up. I want to love them but for outdoor and travel use I am going to continue my search for a functional and decently fashionable do it all sandal.

Great sandal but order a size down

I couldn't review this on the Birkenstock site so I'm doing it here as I purchase so much from REI. Very nice quality and good sole. Great foot support as Birkenstock is known for. One thing to keep in mind though is that you need to order a size down as the sizing is off on this sandal. I wear a 43EU and when I got that size, it was very large on my feet and had to return the sandals. I got the 42EA instead and compared it to my Arizona Birks that are 43 and they are the exact same size. Leather is nice quality and the foot bed is comfortable. The back straps feel a tad uncomfortable at first but they softened up nicely after wearing the sandals for an hour.

Functional fashion

The Milano CT's have met my expectations as a fashionable alternative to my Chacos. They do not take the place of a sports sandal but are sufficient for around town use and I have used them for my summer travel footwear. I have worn them regularly and the durability has been good and the sole shows surprisingly little wear. My shoe size is 10 D and I have found the size 42 to be a perfect fit even with my Morton's toes. These sandals are the most comfortable footwear I have owned.

Comfortable, and love the rear heel strap.

Bought these to replace a 30 year old pair of Birkenstock Arizona sandals. The footbed and straps are the same as the Arizona but I do really like the back heel strap on these Milano sandals and the CT soles are much more stable walking outdoors. One word of advice, decide if you will be wearing your Birks with socks or barefoot as sizing is so important with Birks so the toe ridges fit your feet comfortably. With socks I’m a size 43 but as I wear them barefoot these size 42’s fit me perfectly, and are the same size as my old Arizona sandals. (I typically wear size 10 wide shoes). They do take a while to break-in however.

Love them! (But do size down)

I absolutely love them. In fact, I may even be replacing my older ones with this new rugged version. Ground impact is noticeably reduced with the new soles and provides more grip, as well. In only a week, I've also already played a round of golf in them. But yes... you will want to size down. Held side-by-side, these 42's matched up perfectly with my old 43's.

Will Wear These Out

I've been wanting to try the Birkenstock brand. To pricey generally. Finally got them at a price I'm happy with. Really nice sandals.

don't fit

I was set to enjoy these sandals having had multiple Birkies over the years, including Milano's, but my feet don't fit into them even with the straps on the last notch. I dug out two pair of really ratty Milano sandals from my past and they still fit fine, and are the same size (44 euro). I don't know if this is an outlier, will return to a store.

Too large.

Since there were none of the Milano CT's in stock, I tried a regular Milano to get the size I would need and then ordered the Milano CT's. When the CT's arrived they were way too large and I had to return them and order a size smaller.
