These are very nice. However, I wish I had ordered a small instead of a medium since they're a bit long for my size 8 feet. I may give them to my husband.
These seem great quality, super cozy. However, I purchased a small (I’m size 6.5 womens) and they are at least two inches too big. I gave them to my husband (size 9 mens) and they fit him perfectly.
I bought two pairs of these on two separate occasions. The first pair in a small in Gritstone heather, a few months later another small pair in Sage. The size inconsistency is disappointing. The Gritstone Heater fit perfectly, but the Sage fits like a medium or maybe even a large; I may end up returning the sage pair. If it fits properly like the Gritstone pair this is my favorite sock, I like them more than Darntoughs.
These socks are very well cushioned. They’re more comfortable than other moderately cushioned socks and fit well without the thickness of hiking socks.
I love Icebreaker socks, and the other IB socks in this order fit just fine, but this particular item was huge. Like two inches of extra sock extending past my toes huge. Some kind of mixup? The socks themselves say WS-SM inside the edge, so it wasn't just a labeling/shipping issue.
Soft, cushy, fit the contours of my foot, not too bulky in my boots.
Too itchy. Cannot wear them. Might be okay for others but I can't wear wool that is this itchy. If I'm distracted enough during the day, I might get through. But I'll scratch my skin off in my sleep afterward.
I love smartwool socks, but these seem to be better by far. They are smooth and stay up without being too tight on my calves. They were warm without any sweating. Made of great wool they don't get smelly and should last a long time. I'll be getting more of these.
I bought the same size sock I always wear, a women's L. The socks, after washing and machine drying, are at least 1 inch longer than other brands of same size.
Nice and durable. Really like the wide band at the top. Socks stay up but don't grab too tightly.
