warm feet

As someone with Raynaud’s syndrome (ie circulation problems in the feet) I always have cold feet and I’m looking for the perfect sock. I love both smartwool and darn tough. However, I have also come to really appreciate Bridgedale wool socks. The most important thing is that they wick moisture well in order to keep my feet warmer. These bridgedales do a very good job of that. The one thing they have going for them that the others don’t is that they add poly propylene. It does an excellent job of wicking moisture... so I don’t know why the other big companies don’t add it to their product. I highly recommend these socks.

Colorful,Socks

Socks were worn and washed once and worn again yesterday, so this is not a long-term review. Socks were comfortable and warm, and just the color I wanted. The ribbing at the top might be too tight for thicker legs. Only dried the socks for five minutes and then air dried, my usual for wool sock care. Instructions say they can be dried completely in dryer; I almost never do this with wool socks. Would buy this socks again.

Love these

I was skeptical that these would be “ideal for summer hikes,” but they are everything the description says. They became my go-to hiking socks during the last of summer, and I’ll definitely be buying a few more pairs.

Rough yarns irritate feet

The pink/black version of this sock uses very rough yarns. Can feel it on the outside and doesn't match other color. When I wore for first time the socks irritated the bottom of my fit. Felt very roughly woven on the inside too. Do not recommend this color. Returned all 4 pair. The Green/Navy color is not the same yarns. Very soft and comfortable to wear. Stick to Green/navy.

Bridgedale socks

The socks are perfect. I have never been disappointed by bridgedale socks. However, I am concerned about the cooperative resisting unionization. Loyal member since 1980.
