Didn't stay attached

One key reason I bought this rack was to carry two bicycles on a trip of a life time to Alaska. After arriving home after three months and 12,000 miles I found the rack had started to detach. The adhesive was showing. I removed the rack and found most of the adhesive was still sticking to the my van, but was no longer sticking to the rack. My wife and I have spent over 3 hours just on the lower mount to remove the adhesive only to find the rack put lines in the van finish. Looks like I'm going to have to have the door refinished too! What a mess. I wouldn't feel comfortable ever re-installing this rack on my van.

Good But Falling apart

We bought this for our sprinter RV. It works well and allows us to get access to the back even with bikes on it. However we have had several parts fall off and no real way to purchase replacements.

Causes me flat tires

Plastic pieces stripped out during adjustments. Long drives without a doubt has caused my mountain bike 3 flat (tube) tires. It is the craziest thing. My spokes are tight. There are no protrusions or debris inside my wheel. I don't over tighten the holding strap... I suspected the carrier after the second flat. Before the third flat, my bike sat off the rack with fully inflated tire for 5 days. My tire is once again flat after a long drive with the bike on the rack. It's the rack.

Nice rack, but it's broken three times now

We've had this rack for a couple years now, but it's broken three times: the lock mechanism stopped working the bike-holder arm twice now (we've twice replaced them), then the bolt that mounts it at the top came loose and we lost it. Perhaps that last one was my fault — I probably should've checked the tightness more often — but I don't remember that being mentioned at all in the instructions. I feel like the instruction manual could be better. And I feel like the price is quite high, given the lack of durability.

Good Value

I have this product on my Thor/Dodge RV Van. It's well built, but I can't figure out how to change the position of top bar, for my different style bikes, ie road, mountain and gravel. directions don't help and no videos to show you how to adjust. I have had to take top bar off and reinstall each different bike. Dumb. .Other than that you get your money's worth.

max bike weight ?

I haven't installed yet ... Thule Specs ... Max bike weight ... 19 kg ... Max weight capacity ...35 kg ... so is this supposed to mean 19 kg per bike ? for total max weight capacity of 38 kg? I don't understand Thule specs ...

Elite van xt mb sprinter rack

I bought this product because I was in need of space in my van. Easy to use, the bike or really stabile, they don't move. I need to use a stool to lock down because of the height of the van.
