Too Sweet

I found this too sweet. It’s a decent breakfast, but there’s too many berries, too mush dust, and it’s too sweet. Drinking the milk from the bottom made me gag a little. It’s a decent option, I just wish it had less sugar.

Peak refuel

Took these on a 7 day backpack elk hunt and loved them. Easy to prepare and tasted great. Not a lot of water required to prep these meals which helped in my hydration. My fav’s were biscuits& gravy and chicken pasta pesto. The only negative was each meal served two, so since this was a solo trip I had to split each packet into a separate container and save it for the next meal. The trick was to save one empty meal pack and use that as your cooking vessel. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the taste, one serving was enough to fill my hunger after a long day of hiking

I Want a Giant Drum of Mountain Berry Granola

This is really good. I have tried other backpacking breakfasts and I have had to take them with a lot of Lactaid tablets or my day was ruined with cramps. You can eat this if you are lactose intolerant like many people out there are! Thank you for creating one with a milk alternative! Plus, this was super tasty and crunchy and lots of berries. Sweet and sour in a good way. My tip is use very cold water and start with a half to 3/4 of the recommended water level. I just eyeball it since it does not have to reconstitute and get thicker. It does taste better than granola on supermarket shelves but then everything tastes better outdoors.

A bit bitter, too many berries

So overall did like the granola, you could juts eat them without the water. It was very overpowering the amount of berries in it and a bit bitter with too many raspberries. Did taste good

It's good, real good!

First try at this brand and it didn't disappoint. 1 cup of cold water and was blown away by the taste/flavor/consistency. Have been a loyal mtn house buyer for 13+ years, Peak Refuel is worth a look.

Best Granola Dehyde on the market

This is my go-to favorite trail breakfast. The directions say cold water, and it is tasty that way. But I have started using boiling water and it turns into the best oatmeal. Sweet, Tart, and bursting with flavor. Never disappoints.

First year trying Peak Refuel

This year was my first year trying Peak Refuel. Early October, 11 Miles into the backcountry, every peak meal had great taste and stuck with me. The extra protein and calories of these meals made all the hard work of the elk hunt possible. The granola meals are great and quick to prepare without having to heat water which very convenient and quick in the mornings. The other meals were also the best I've ever had in the freeze dried world! Awesome meals for all backcountry adventures. I am using peak refuel for all my freeze dried meals.

Delicious Cold Breakfast

Was very tasty. Fruit rehydrated well and was very good. Even better if you can find some chilled water to add to the pouch instead of ambient temp.
