Durable ring but silly construction

The ring itself is very durable and does the job. However, I too found that the security torque bolts worked themselves loose while on the trail. Of course I had no tool to tighten them on the trail but this can be fixed by adding threadlocker to each bolt. Then, it’s a solid ring. However, you can’t even find just the ring to replace a worn one without the spider so why this silly construction? It would be much better to replace this ring with a solid, narrow-wide, direct mount ring which will be lighter and problem free.

chainrings bolts or chainring need to be one piece

Had to purchase special t15 security torx tool to tighten chainring bolts almost dead going otb after chain dropped due to chainring wobbling because chain bolts loosened. Other than that the the teeth and direct mount is good just apply tread lock and not the blue one.
