Long life with proper maintenance (clean and wax)

This Shimano 12 speed chain is great! I live in Utah (not many rainy days) and have this on my road bike. My chain has finally reached .49 wear. So I am replacing it with a new one. I have exactly 3,266 miles (5,256 kilometers) on this chain. For reference points only I weigh 175lbs and averaged around 180 watts ranging from 1-1100 watts. I try to hot wax my chain every 400 miles. So probably hot waxed it 6 or 7 times. The chain could probably last me twice this but I don’t want to risk any wear on my cassette and chain rings. Also I e reused the original quick link each time and no problem with chain breaking apart.

Chainy McChainface approved

This chain is the chainiest chain I've ever put on a bike. Just like a chain is supposed to do. It truly is a chain meant for my bike. Also, for 19.00, it was a deal.
