Great shoes that lack quality :-(
I bought these boots thinking that I was making a multi-year investment at this price point. Unfortunately, after just 60 days, the thread that holds the soul to the shoe is coming out. I do not recommend purchasing these boots unless you're ready to deal with cobblers or warranty claims within the first 60 days of ownership.
My favorite shoes!
These shoes are so comfortable! I’ve been wearing them for two months now and they are by far my favorite shoes. I also have them in brown but the leather isn’t as soft as the black. I’m sure with time the brown will wear in nice and the leather will become softer. The black ones straight out of the box are like a nice pair of leather socks. I usually don’t wear socks with them either as I’m finding socks to be too constricting on my toes since I’ve switched to barefoot shoes. I highly recommend them for anyone that’s interested! Vivobarefoot knows how to make a good shoe!
the most lightweight comfortable shoe ever
So lightweight and flexible, but provides enough protection for me in the desert with cactus and rocks everywhere. Only problem is doesnt breathe well (all leather) and unwearable in heat. great winter boot for the desert but when its above 80 degrees its waaay too hot.
Way overpriced
Grossly overpriced for such a minimalist shoe - basically a flat footbed with very thin uppers. Would be an OK product at half the price.
This Gobi II Boot is perfect out of the box.
I've been wearing zero drop Boulder boots for years and love them, but the Gobi II zero drop boots are less structured and I really like how they feel. I just got them so it too early to judge how they'll be on longer walks and hikes. 12/26/21 Still haven’t had a chance to wear for an extended period of time.
