Light, but extremely warm.
This jacket is a hit. It is very light and I had to snow blow my driveway in 17 degree windy weather and it did great. You do not feel the cold in this jacket. There are a lot of pockets. I wore several layers and stayed very warm. The jacket also has form so that you can move very easily in it. I didn't get this jacket for skiing although based on my snow blower episode, I don't think you can go wrong.
