I will need to return these without using them. I should have tested my boot in the store. Despite description, size 9 womens Salomon winter hikers cannot get into the binding. Not pack boots, just insulated hikers but they don't fit. Husband had exact same problem with his using Columbia bugaboot. If you get these, plan on a skinny boot to use!
Overall, very good snow shoes. My winter boots are a bit bigger than shoes I usually wear, so I find it is difficult to close the back strap on the snowshoes. The strap just barely fits. I like that you “dial” the front straps tighter and then use a quick release to lengthen; much easier than messing with individual clasps on several different straps. The cleats work pretty well, but I have experienced a little bit of sliding whwn going downhill.
These snowshoes work great! I had a pair for 15 years and it was time for an upgrade. These are so easy to take off and on!! Love the color too!
Perfect gift. The quick set binding is ideal. No more fumbling with clips and clasps and freezing hands on cold winter days. Quality construction at a competitive price.
Perfect shoes for a first-timer. Easy to get in and out of the snow shoe.
Great snowshoes. Love the ease of the bindings. Would be nice to have more grip in the back but love these so far
