If I could give more stars, I would. In fact, I was just getting back to the REI site to see if I could buy ANOTHER ONE. I am 6'2" and bought size L. I lloooooooovvvee the long arm and body length, as well as the softness and thickness of the fabric. It's warm, versatile, cozy. I like to wear mine w a silk long-sleeve layer underneath - and it's perfect. If ever this shows up again in size L [currently appears to be sold out], I will buy another - so I can have one for outdoor workwear, and one to more carefully keep in good condition - for indoor coziness. I highly recommend!

I wouldn't have shelled out the dough for this if it were full priced but I got it on sale and I'm very pleased. I was unsure how the fit would be since some Smartwool tops are loose or clingy in weird ways, but this one drapes nicely and is rather elegant. I'm 5'10" with a straight/athletic figure, usually between a small and medium, and I opted for the medium so that I can easily wear layers under it. I love that the sleeves are generously long (they fully cover my wrists) although someone with a smaller frame might not feel the same. The bottom hem falls to my hips, covering about half of my butt, so it looks nice with leggings or fitted pants. The hood and neck are well designed -- very functional for keeping my head and neck warm (will be great for my bike commute) but not bulky or awkward around the neck when I don't have the hood up. Oh, and the color is beautiful (I got the twilight blue heather, a nice deep teal), and I appreciate that it is one solid color instead of a pattern or color block design, making it easier to find other things to wear with it. Overall it fits the bill as something I can wear outdoors but is nice enough for the office -- very functional for warmth, comfortable, looks good, and goes well with a lot of my other clothes.

Comfortable and warm. Love the way it fits, light enough to layer. The drape neck keeps the wind out of the neck. The color is great and I've received several comments about both the look of the hoodie, and the color.

I bought this hoodie on sale sight unseen thinking for the price being "ok” would be a win… it is fantastic and so glad I purchesed. Can't wait to wear it out in the Minnesota Cold!

Super comfy and warm! I run very cold and this keeps me warm and is great as a casual hoodie without the bulkiness of typical hoodies.
