Good for an adult woman too!
I have pretty small hands, and I ordered an XL. They fit perfectly. They are pretty warm and fuzzy inside which is great... but they have individual finger slots like gloves and I am not totally sold on that. I normally like to put my little hand warmers in my mittens, but they don't fit because of the finger slots. There is a pouch on the outside for them, but they slide in outside of the mitten insulation so you don't get much of the heat on the inside of the mitten. I haven't put them to the test with water, but they feel like they will be pretty waterproof. I am overall pretty happy with them.
