Darn good jeans
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly I’m so happy I found a brand that makes jeans that are stretchy, breathable, and light, without costing an arm and a leg. Admittedly this is the most expensive pair of jeans I’ve ever purchased, but it was worth the risk. With Gap and Levi, I find myself sizing up from a 32waist to 34 to fit my average sized thighs. With Duer, a 32/30 relaxed fit fit my waist, thighs, and calves comfortably with an inch or two of slack doubling for comfort and avoiding the skinny jeans look. I’ve never bought a pair of pants online. Although pricey, I couldn’t be happier and am already planning another purchase soon.
My favorite jean/pants I think ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything is right about jeans. They fit like a glove no matter if I'm wearing one or three layers that get tucked in. The 34" inch inseam is 34" unlike my two other favorite brands in their slim tapered bottoms. They shorten the inseam on their narrow bottoms thinking short inseams are "fashionable". But back to these jeans. There is just the right amount of room in the seat and thigh without being baggy. The bottoms are slim but because of the the stretch in the fabric you don't have fight getting them on. Stitching is nice and neat everywhere, and the watch pocket is big enough to comfortably hold my cell phone. I only buy dark denim and these are perfect.
they fit like oversized leggings
While these were extremely comfortable, the fabric is so stretchy that they look cheap and fit like oversized leggings. What I mean by this is that they have weird creases that form on the crotch area due to their elastic qualities. My wife told me they look like cheap jeans because of this. I was hoping they would be more similar to my last pair of dark Duer jeans but they were instead very thin material with little structure causing the weird ripples all over them from the stretchy fabric. This just isn’t quite what you expect from a “jean” pant. They were also not as dark looking as my previous pair. I returned them.
Good tool for the daily grind
Star quality with triple stitching, robust high tech fabric, great wicking action and instant comfort out of the box. I am 5' 10" and 175 lbs and pretty happy with the fit. I wish for a narrower waist, but seems fine with a belt. The weathered gray color denim is appropriate for all casual wear situations. It breathes well, but seems a bit too warm for hot weather hiking. The is my second pair of DU/ER pants. The first pair remain great even after a lot of hard use. Recommended, especially if you are lucky enough to find them on deal as I did at REI.
I'm torn
I love the way these jeans fit and their lightweight/wicking characteristics I recently returned a pair in which the diamond-shaped crotch panel had worn in 6 months and you graciously exchanged them However, I've worn the new pair on an off for a few weeks now and I fear that it's going to happen again I only wear them at work (mostly computer-based), some social events, and on a recent business trip.nothing excessive I thought that you would appreciate this feedback.maybe you should re-assess this particular piece of fabric It seems to be made of a different fabric than the rest of the jeans
Initially skeptical but now wowed.....
I am an older (62 years) slightly heavyset male who constantly struggles to find a pair of jeans that fits at the waist yet doesn’t have baggy legs which is very uncomplimentary. I tried on the DU/ER jeans in my desperation search for a new pair of jeans....wow....the slim fit actually fit my body and the tighter legs look awesome on me! I purchased them and even after washing they fit great. And the comfort, wow! Every time I wear them, I remark that they are truly the most comfortable jeans that I have ever worn. Not going back to my AGs! I am a true convert to DU/ER!

Stitch quality is horrible
The fit and style are wonderful, however stitching is horrible! Would be a 5 star review if they weren't stitched so poorly.
