Sunday Afternoons  Ultra Storm Bucket Hat

I wear this hat All. The. Time. I've started wearing hats to protect my skin and of all the hats I have, this is my favorite. I initially bought the regular storm bucket hat when it was on sale but sadly, lost it. I had to buy this at regular price but it's worth it. The hat is lightweight, fits well, and stylish enough for a 50 plus woman without it looking frumpy or dowdy. I've worn it on a hot summer day and it's light enough that my head doesn't overheat. Best of all is the slate blue/gray color (not the teal pictured in this review). Great color that goes with most everything I wear and not the usual boring khaki, white or gray bucket hat color.

Lightweight & foldable yet holds its shape. Quality fabric and seam work. Straps are made with quality material as well. All made to dry quickly. Has adjustable head band above the rim. Interior of the hat has cooling material that is airy. My hand actually felt cool inside it. Great for everyday use, from rain and sun. I use to want a wider rim for more sun coverage, but it is just not as practical. I bought the plum/taupe color and love. Adds a little fun and fashion. Plan on buying solid black for my son. Wish they had more of the two colors to select for my sisters.

Wore it on a 7 hour hike during a constant rain shower. Totally waterproof!

This is a comfortable and stylish hat that provides a good amount of protection from the sun on my daily walks. I’m sure that it will provide good protection from the rain as well. The one drawback is that the slide on the under-chin strap does not slide as easily as I would like.

Hat is comfortable, withstands winds, keeps rain and sun off your head. What more could you want!

I've bought them all for sun/rain, Tilley, OR...etc, this is the best all around sun and rain hat ever! I just used it for a month-long trip to raining, windy, sunny south of France, and it was awesome!

Was looking for a good sun hat. Looked at many but this one seemed to check all the boxes! It’s very comfortable and really works well when it rains. Very good quality!

I spent time in the Great Northwest this summer and this hat was perfect. Rain did not get in my way while hiking the Columbia Gorge or the Olympics.
