Fits like, well, a glove!
Luckily, I was able to try on several gloves in the store, before settling on this pair. The cuff is a bit tight, but once on, the fit is perfect. The Etip feature works effortlessly, which could not be said for other brands. And what's not to love about recycled materials! Worth the money.

Can’t wash them at all
These fit really well so I cut off the packaging only to find that the tag says, in all caps, not to wash or dry clean the gloves, spot clean only. I planned to use these as running gloves but they’re no good to me if I can’t wash them between uses.

Was good... for a while

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved these gloves at first. I got them primarily for the e tip and at first it was incredibly sensitive. I ordered them mid October, have washed them in the washing machine two times on delicate, and by the beginning of February about 80% of the etip material has fallen off and these gloves no longer work. I now need to remove them to use my car's touch screen which defeats the purpose of why I bought them in the first place. On top of that, there is already a hole in the wrist seam. These gloves only lasted me 3 months of consistent use, which is incredibly disappointing given the North Face's reputation.

Touch Screen Gloves That Work For Me!!!!

After trying many brands, styles and materials for gloves that were touch screen the fingers were always to long which voided the use with my iPhone. I even tried kids gloves Lol, too short at the wrist. These are a tad bit pricey but I'm so glad I ordered them. My finger fit to the tip and now I can use my iPhone. They do not shift while wearing. I bought size small. The wrist part is a little hard to wiggle on But once on is a perfect fit. I have Raynaud's and use them for everyday driving, grocery shopping and walking the neighborhood. I cannot speak for long cold weather hikes. So very happy I found these :o)

Wrist stitching too tight. Why not elastic thread?

First, the good: These work very well with my smartphone (old, with cracked screen!) for photos, especially. A bit clumsy for texting, but it works. The NOT so good: (1) I read other reviews saying the tightness around the wrists made it difficult to put the gloves on. This is true. I had tried on black Etip Women's L in the store, and did not find this to be a problem, so I went ahead and ordered the same gloves in gray. Why didn't they use stretchy thread around the wrists? It's OK once the gloves are on, but difficult to put them on, especially if your hands are cold. I bought the Women's L because of finger length, even though my hand width is in the M range, according to the size chart. If you still want to try these gloves, go with the size above your hand width. (2) They are not very water resistant. Fine for driving, not good for anything where you'll get splashed or rained on. I'm keeping mine, but hope my feedback will be useful to North Face and other potential customers, especially those who are ordering online.

I really love this product.

I walk to bus stop every day. And walk to work when I get off. I live downtown, so I prefer to walk to most of the places. And these gloves are so perfect. Not baggy fits well to your hands and can use mobile with no trouble.

Not for winter!

It's a nice pair of gloves, pretty and really works on smartphones. My only concern is that it seems like it's going to tear at the seam at anytime. But I do not recommend sizing it up, it would be too big.

Size up?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read the reviews saying the sizing was off, but assumed a medium would be good enough for my ... average hands. They fit in in terms of width of my hand, but either these gloves are built for shorter fingers or my fingers are a heck of a lot longer and more elegant than I ever thought. The seam of the bottom of the glove hits maaaaybe right at the base of my palm - it would be nice if it were a centimeter longer. The fingers of the glove are about 0.5cm too short. Can't speak to the rest of the glove ... they seem warm-ish for what they are. Hopefully they're semi-waterproof so I can brush snow off the door of my car. If you look at your hands and think "oh, these are average, ordinary things," then get a large.

Seam in index ripped after a month

I loved the glove. Great fit and feel and I was able to use my cell phone. Unfortunately, the seam of the index finger ripped. Very disappointed. I expected more of this brand.

Non bulky griper gloves!

I'm glad more brands are trying to be eco friendly. These gloves are perfect for day to day activities. They are thin, so they aren't meant to keep your hands warm if the temperature is below 20 degrees F (or perhaps if you're outside for a longer period of time). I was looking for something that wasn't bulky and that would keep my hands warm while driving in the winter and going to and from the car. The gloves are able to be used with touch devices. I'm not sure if the information mentions this, but the palms of the gloves have a bumpy material that is meant to help you grip things. This is a nice added bonus to gloves that aren't bulky to begin with.

Best gloves Ever!

For Christmas I saw these and decided to get them for my mom and mother in law,but when I saw them I decided I really wanted a pair bc I loved how you could use your phone and keep your gloves on! I am a figure skater and runner and these are warm, stylish, and sleek. This is my third pair of these gloves, due to my skate blade cutting my fingers in my gloves from me grabbing my blade, and I am so happy I can type on my phones with these! Pink is a great accent to these stylish warm gloves. They fit true to size and are tight fitting which I love for winter. I am not a fan of bulky items which makes me love these fabulous gloves. Very happy with my purchase .
