Measurements are stated in inches unless otherwise indicated. Size chart values represent body measurements, not garment measurements.
SHORT: Some pants are available in short sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 2.5 inches shorter than regular sizes.
TALL: Some pants, shirts, jackets and parkas are available in tall sizes, which generally means an inseam that is 3 inches longer and a rise that is 1 inch longer, a shirt or jacket body that is 2 inches longer, a parka body that is 2.5 inches longer and sleeves that are 2.5 inches longer than regular sizes.
Capri or cropped pants have an intentionally shorter inseam—reference the technical specs instead of this chart.
Inseam is measured to the floor.

I currently live in South Korea, and the spring brings on significant amounts of rain. On the weekends, I am generally out exploring the country. The rain posed significant impediments on outdoor fun. I was in the market for a lightweight and breathable jacket that could keep me dry without making me overly warm. The Groudbreaker, fit the bill! I just spent 4 days in the rain exploring Seoul and it's provinces. Not only was I dry, but the jacket performed superbly with an ambient temp of 65-70 degrees. If you are in the market for a lightweight jacket that keeps rain out, while allowing you not sweat through your tshirt, look no further. The only thing I wish the jacket had was a zipper pocket inside the breast, but this would not warrant anything other than a 5 Star rating.
I am very disappointed with the jacket. After light use of less than two months, the jacket is no longer water repellent. A cheaper Aliexpress rain jacket might last me longer. The sleeves are too long. Not recommended at all.
I use this jacket for hiking/ backpacking and it’s excellent! I just hiked in some windy, snowy, cruddy weather and this jacket is nice. It kept me warm, keep the wet weather out, very nice! I highly recommend this jacket.
I really want to love this jacket. It's simple, lightweight (but not ultralight), fits really well on the body- and this shade of green is absolutely beautiful! However... these sleeves are just way too long. I wear a size 42R, and I own a size Large in almost every jacket I own- but the sleeves on the Large go way past my wrists and covers about half my hand. I thought I could get used to it, but I just can't. Design flaw on the cuffs. There is an elastic band built in- but it's rather useless as it doesn't hug your wrists at all and is only on half the cuff. This jacket would be a 5/5 for me if they made the cuff more tight around the wrist, or added a Velcro strap to fix the sleeve length.
This basic rain jacket is a gem, exceeding my expectations. My first time wearing it was a very good experience. I hiked for close to 4 hours on the sand dunes on the Dellenback Trail near Lakeside, Oregon. There was light rain brief bouts of, heavy, and it kept me dry and didn't get hot or clammy. That was a nice surprise. Even though it's not made of high-end materials, it does a very decent job in rainy, windy conditions. I'm 5' 11", 168 pounds, and the medium is a perfect fit. The hood fits well and is easily adjustable. I do wish it had an extra zippered pocket, and pit zips would be useful for warmer weather. But for such a modest price, this well-performing jacket is very satisfactory. I've used it for 3-4 times weekly since purchase, it's become my go to jacket for day hikes here on the coast or for trips to the Willamette Valley.
This jacket is pretty good for the cost, but if you are truly looking for something waterproof you're going to want to go with something else. I bought this jacket for backpacking in rainy environments and while testing it found out that it wasn't what I was looking for. First, I found that this jacket does run large so keep that in mind when ordering. I generally wear a large and I definitely should have ordered a medium. Second, I did find this jacket comfortable and its wind resistance was decent. Last, the thing that I cared about the most was its waterproof capability. I was initially pleased to see that when rain would land on the surface, it would bead up and I could shake it off, but after about 30 mins in a slow, steady rain the water did start to penetrate the jacket. I noticed this most around my backpack shoulder & hip straps where the jacket wicked the water right up, leaving large wet spots. Overall, I think this is a decent jacket for daily tasks like running errands or dealing with small passing showers. If you are considering this for backpacking or serious rain, I strongly suggest looking at other options.
Most of my previous waterproof jackets in this price range have been stiff, humid, generally unpleasant garments only good for rain. This is different. It’s soft and comfortable, although not stretch it moves well on the body. It blocks the wind also. The fabric and cut make you think it’s a much more costly garment. I was liking the jacket so much I became concerned it wouldn’t do the thing it’s designed for: shed water. Not to worry, it’s did a great job in the wet, so good actually that the next morning the jacket still had water on the surface and I had to shake it off. All this without being clammy inside. Frankly this is now my go-to light jacket it’s that versatile. Details: in most things I wear a large. Rei branded stuff runs big, I’ve got long arms and medium is good. The cuffs are loose, if you’re working overhead water will run down but it’s more comfortable. The hood is big enough for a helmet but somewhat shapeless. Wearing a ball cap under can help. Two zip pockets are fine but I wouldn’t mind more. In conclusion it’s a great budget waterproof jacket. But it’s much more versatile than that to boot.
Just received this Jacket in the mail. I ordered a size small (I’m 5’8-5’9 ish, short dude) and it fits nicely just about everywhere except for the sleeve length which are several inches too long. With the cuff not being adjustable or too tight around the wrist, it fits too long. Not so long that I can’t wear it and find it functional.. just a little complaint I have. Other than that, it’s a great jacket for the price and I look forward to having it keep me dry in the rain! If I were able to give 3.5 stars, I would have.
Great coat, totally works and is comfy. Only problem was it was a bit too large so go a size down or try it on first.
So far it's a great coat but it could really benefit from an adjustment at the wrist. some Velcro to tighten the wrist would be SUPER helpful!!
